A lovely dried flower wreath using all this years flowers went out last week as a birthday gift… 🎁

One of my favourite sweet peas for the past two years ‘Juliet’ she comes in so many different shades and the scent is just amazing! New to me this year ‘High scent’ and as her name suggests she smells delicious. Every year I say I’m not growing them any more but I seem to be a easily tempted and have already ordered seeds for next year 🙄

Today’s birthday bouquet… so big I needed both hands to carry it and it only just went through the door 😬😍 🥳

New polytunnel update - what a joy it is! beds have already been cleared and restocked for late summer ~ I know so quickly! 🌸

Trialing some plants in here just to see the difference with the majority still outside where I think I’ll keep them next year but just have a few in the tunnel for an early crop in the spring… so looking forward to having an earlier crop to share with you all!

Looking and smelling divine for now but Sunday’s picking which will see a lot of these disappear followed shortly by a big pick later in the week for all your jamjar/tin orders for the teachers ~ thank you so much for all your support! 💛💚

💚🌱 New addition to the plot, a wonderful second hand Keder greenhouse (tunnel). It has taken a lot of time and hard work, preparing the ground (compost bays needed moving), ground levelled off and then we could begin taking it down from its old much loved home to bring it to its new home 💚🌱 Can’t wait to get planting 🌱🌸

Sharing the excitement of blossom on our apple tree! What’s so exciting about that you might think, our son sowed this seed from an apple when he was roughly about 10years old some 16 or so years later it looks like we will finally have apples! 🍏🍎🐝

Sweetpeas planted (Sown December 28th) will tie them in in a few days once they have had time to settle. Plenty of weeding they seem to have loved all the rain 😉

My middling son moved house last year and gained a beautiful huge magnolia tree. It was in desperate need of cutting back, removing all the dead, diseased and crossing/rubbing branches… I bought some back home to see if I could force it into flower… very pleased with the outcome- gorgeous colour! Took just 10 days from bud to flower!

Lots of jobs on the to do list but for today it was roses day ~ pruning, clearing away all the old fallen leaves and debris before mulching with year old horse manure…

Who else is looking forward to their return? Anyone have a particular favourite? My favourite changes depending on which day you ask me 🤔

Beautiful weather for coppicing the hazels. Plenty of rods available if anyone would like any for wigwams for your sweetpeas/roses/beans or for making into fences and structures. Send me a message if you would like some…

Thank you for all your support either by buying my blooms, attending workshops or just being here on social media.

I have learned so much, sowed hundreds and hundreds of seeds, taken cuttings, weeded, mulched, weeded, cut stems and stems of scented flowers at silly o’clock in the morning to beat the summer heat so you can have the most stunning flowers for weddings, birthdays, funerals and just because you deserve a treat! And I have LOVED it all and can’t wait for all the gorgeous blooms to be back again!
