Here we go 2024!
Managed to take a few leaps through the boggy allotment today to start some tidying and planting. Gardening 👨🏽‍🌾 👩🏽‍🌾

Managed to clear last year’s bed of sweetcorn which we kept for winter interest, plus a little place for insects 🐞 to hide through the harsh season change.

Planted a whole bed of garlic 🧄 approximately 120 in the ground so hoping for a good crop this season. Definitely keeping the vampires away!
A little late but hey ho!

Happy planning fellow green fingered folk!!

After the rain ☔️ sunshine ☀️ & running out of supplies I’m glad to see out little allotment patio in place. 🪴

No more sitting on grow bags, dirt and planks of wood 🪵 as we’ve even managed to buy a recycled patio table. Bring on the jam sandwiches & flask of tea!

So we have a new gadget for apple picking, was a little sceptical as Mr D loves anything gadgety.
Proud to say this works a treat! Lots of apples to harvest & share in the community.

What’s everyone doing with there glut of apples?
