10 little fingers and 10 little toes…
First day of the summer hols seems like a good time to break my posting hiatus… How are we all feeling?? My lot are making the most of a Monday morning lie-in, including bacon sarnies in bed (I feel like I may have started something I can’t sustain 🥴)
Meanwhile, I’m sat downstairs working on a chore chart - mwa ha ha haaaa!
Can 👏🏻not 👏🏻wait 👏🏻to get out exploring with little clients this year! So if the weather could crack on with being a bit more cheerful, that’d be grand!
What’s your favourite way to keep your littles occupied on a rainy day? Are you team splash about or team sofa snuggles?
Happy International Women’s Day!
You are exquisite ✨✨✨
This little moment was so sweet. Little bubs was having a hard time settling off to sleep and was a bit teary. As soon as mum’s nose touched hers, her entire little body relaxed and she drifted off to sleep 🥺
Just a little Tuesday morning encouragement. You might feel like you’re wading through treacle, doing nothing productive, but your presence, you voice, your touch is their entire world. You’re doing better than you think you are.
Teeny tiny toesies…
There’s absolutely nothing like post-bath baby snuggles 🥰
I’m sure we’ve all been heartbroken watching events unfold in Syria and Turkey. If, like me, you’ve been wanting to do something to help people directly affected, this post is for you.
The amazing ladies at 🦑 are running a raffle to raise to support families in Syria and Turkey. All of the amazing businesses on Topsham high street have put in some incredible prizes.
We’d love your support! All donations will be price-matched by a local business and go straight to the Disaster Emergency Committee. This is a great opportunity to make an actual impact on people’s lives. I’m excited to see how much we can raise! 🫶🏻
Tickets are available for £1 (cash please) from today in 🦑 and prizes will be drawn on 28th February.
Thank you SO MUCH 💫

“There’s something like a line of gold thread running through a man’s words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself.” ~ John G. Brown.
What has been one of your favourite things about watching your man become a girl dad?
Proudest little girlies in all the land ♡
Just a boy and his Mama. Watching little boys with their mummas always gets me 🥺
Newborns…🥰
These three 🥰
“You were beautiful before there was an eye to see.” ~ these lyrics hit me right in the feels today (thank-you, ).
I found myself thinking about beauty… How hard it can be to see ourselves for the absolute miracles that we are. We often minimise beauty to a set of arbitrary standards that have no bearing on real life. Worse, when we feel like we don’t meet those standards, we tweak and even diminish our own beauty to try and fit in. Or we just hide ourselves hoping no one looks our way long enough to notice.
Thing is though, beauty is not something we achieve, it’s something we are. It’s innate. And wildly unique. We are beautiful when there are eyes to see and we are beautiful when there are none.
One of my very favourite things about photography is getting to slow right down and notice those little moments of exquisiteness. Moments that are so fleeting they’re gone in the next blink, never to be repeated. ✨
You, my lovely, are beautiful even when there are no eyes to see, not even your own… but goodness, to bear witness to the wonder of it is incredible.
Whether you hire a photographer or do it yourself, take the pictures. Document the beauty of who you are and how blessed the world is to have you in it ❤️💫
Teeny tiny details 😍
Was about to write Happy Wednesday in this caption, then realised it is, in fact, a Tuesday. 🤦🏻♀️ Happy Tuesday. I’m off to caffeinate before the school run 🫠
Baby chubs for days…🥰
Sweet little beauty learning to find her voice. ✨
Don’t panic if you’ve missed the “two week window” that photographers talk about. The first two weeks are incredibly special, but there are lots of reasons why it may not work for you to have a photo session then.
Babies change so quickly - especially in the first 12 weeks - that any age is a great age to document your little one. This gorgeous girly is six weeks fresh and was an absolute delight 💫
Beautiful mama
First birthday done right
Birthday boy
Cake-smash shenanigans
Sparkly dresses for the win ✨
Me: “What’s your favourite thing about your new baby sister?”
N: “EVERYTHING!”
This little sweetheart absolutely smashing her newborn session at 4 days old…
That giggle though… ✨
I love the power a photograph has to take you back to a moment in time. Those kicks and flutters are so special and so worth documenting.
