It’s great to be working with on their new animation courses for young people with the Yellow Mouse Studios Animation Training Academy!

The courses will see young people learn the basics and beyond in animation, taught by some amazing tutors and industry professionals.

This week, we’ve had a fun project screen at the Cosmoverse conference in Dubai for Sentinel dVPN, and a series of seven heritage fund films with Exeter Phoenix, screened at Kents Cavern! 🎥

Tonight’s the night! 🥇We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for the Entreconf Awards ‘Small Business Entrepreneur’ award and the winner will be announced tonight at Areospace Bristol!

Keep your fingers crossed for us and good luck to all finalists across all categories! 🤞

(P.S. Apologies for being a bit quiet on here recently! 😵 We have 6 projects on the go at the moment, plus we’re involved in launching a new party game, Doodle Duel, releasing on October 8th, so there’s not been a lot of spare time for social media!)

It was great to film at Kents Cavern last night for another exciting new project with Exeter Phoenix! 🎬🎥

We’ve been very busy recently running video training sessions, editing and shoots, and filming in the caves was definitely something a bit different! 🔦

Last night we had an amazing time shooting video and photos for Doodle Duel, a brand new party card game (and project of ours) that will be launching very soon! 📸

We had a real blast (as well as a ‘few’ pints and cocktails 🥴) Thanks to the team at Board for:

We’re incredibly excited to announce that Share is a finalist in the Entreconf Awards in the ‘Small Business Entrepreneur’ category! 🍾

The awards are the leading celebration of entrepreneurship in the region, with trailblazing businesses from across the South West being shortlisted.

The winners will be announced on September 26th at the glamorous Entreconf awards night at Aerospace Bristol.

We’re up against some top competition, so it’s fingers and everything else crossed!

Calling all animators, young or old, students, graduates or old timers! The Yellow Mouse Studios Collab Animation - Devon call out is now on! Ta Da

Are you a budding animator based in Devon who is just starting out or a seasoned pro that fancies being part of a fun community project that credits your name alongside industry peers? Then take a look at this idea and see how you can add your own sparkle to it!

To get involved all you have to do is animate a short 5 second sequence of something dropping from the top centre of the frame, followed by an action in the centre of the frame and then finally returning straight upwards to exit the shot, creating a rolling animation that celebrates the animation talent hiding away in Devon. You can animate in any style - 2d, 3d, stop motion etc. but you will need to provide the animation to us as a png sequence with a transparent background so we can composite it into our set scene. The format of the scene is 3000px by 3000px. Your final sequences should be sent by Friday April 26th 2024.

Hopefully, our aim is for this to be the start of a Devon animation community, where creatives across the county can work together on projects, deliver masterclasses or just get together for a chat once in a while.

If nothing else, we will have all worked together on something that is a community project, showreel and celebration of the animation talent here in Devon!
