I love love love crowded decor, so much to look at 😍

The first floor of an apartment I decorated, in Bristol, back in January (yes 7 months ago 🙃). Giving this old property a modern yet cozy & quirky feel.

I obviously haven’t been posting much, but… I have been testing the Festool Exo Active on my jobs.

I’m making the most of putting it through testing, trying it on varied work tasks throughly, till October… Will be giving my humble opinion as I go and complete honest overall review when the time is up, good and/or bad.

I have been seriously disconnected and distant from my work socials for months now. I just can’t keep up with it, creating posts & reels with witty captions to draw attention from what’s seem like an out of reach audience.
I find it mentally and physically draining. I’m good at what I do, I’m not good at social media 😂
Honestly don’t understand how people do it…

Socket plate switch up 🪄

How cool are these socket plates my customer found to replace the old traditional white ones 😍

The traditional white sockets stuck out a bit against the finish of this Venetian Plaster install I did… They wanted sockets that blended in with their chosen colours for the finish. I think they did a banging job choosing those, perfect👌🏼
And of course the tv is back on.

Modernisation for this old double cupboard unit, in the beautiful Dartmouth Harbour Heights home...

It took quite abit of elbow grease but I got there, sprayed inside and out with a Helmi 10 Homespun Grey.

I was back here a couple of weeks ago to oil the two beautiful sets of solid oak stairs, once all the final fixings had been done.

2 coats of Hard Wax Oil in a clear Dead Matt finish, keeping the natural oak coming through, with a light rub down by hand before and in between coats… All ready for the glass panes to be fitted.

This job was my biggest fitted unit spray job to date…
•34 doors
•20 shelves
•8 drawers
•2 loose boxes
•24 internal boxes
•2 10ft+ carcass’
All on 2 (massive) bespoke wardrobes.

I loved, loved, loved doing these 😍 although there were some hiccups that caused a few set backs, (late product delivery, masking falling down, tint matching issues etc) I’d do it all again in a heartbeat and can’t wait to get back there for the next project!!

Sprayed Kiva 30 tinted in “Nougat 3450” to get those rich multi tones in the ever-changing sapele timber & Kiva 30 Clear for top coat, inside and out, using hvlp & airless set up.

Again, absolute pleasure working behind the joinery wizard , thank you for all your help, top bloke, looking forward to the next one!!

Two beautiful bespoke fitted wardrobes, handmade from sapele timber by the wizard that is , who made and fitted these on site at Mamhead Castle & Manor House.

The craftsmanship on these huge wardrobes is insane, absolute perfection 🤌🏼. I had the pleasure of following behind Wayne spraying these units inside and out.

Honestly the photos don’t do any justice in showing how big these wardrobes really are, check out the last picture which is a photo I took of Jon, giving me hand, at the rubbing down stage.
Jon is 6ft and is inside one of the bottom wardrobe cupboards… From floor to cornice the wardrobes are just over 10ft. Wowzeeers in ya trousers

Off the books and own my own, I wish I had done it sooner but hey, at least I did it 😊

In a 3 story town house, completed earlier this week.

I’ll be honest I lost some love for this job part the way through, due to quite a few set backs
- caulk failing
- interior filler failing
- primer failing
All products & brands I use regularly, just not doing what they’re made for 🤷🏻‍♀️
Also had blocking, spitting & failing tips (brand new tips, on final topcoat 😤)

Anywhoooo, I got there in the end, just over ran a wee bit!!
