3 - 6 months have your trial - don't forget to bring inspo!!! Plenty of time to increase hydration, focus on skincare and get those tweakments before the big day 😉

1 month before, pay balance on your makeup & hair
Finalise running order and stylists arrival/depart time

I always offer a trial, more often than not I replicate exactly what we did on the day. However, sometimes we do a complete change! I had seen a few times after the trial for patch tests and other treatments - getting to know my Bride more on each visit! By the wedding day, we both had decided a stronger eye look was the way forward and it paid off!!
Rachel looked stunning, with freshly coloured autumnal shaded locks working with the smokey eye and gold pigmented shadow(a huge sparkle fan here).

Natural Makeup doesn't mean No Makeup!

I get asked all the time for 'Natural Makeup' and then clients ask to make it more 'natural'...Natural makeup isn't the makeup you do everyday; firstly Bridal makeup needs to last ALL day so day to day makeup won't cut it. It's a partnership between good skin prep and light layering of key products to create a flawless finish.
Secondly, day to day makeup or no makeup will make you look drawn and washed out against the pale Bridal gown colours and sometimes harsh outdoor/indoor lighting. The majority of clients I see are using the wrong colour and wrong formulation for their skin or not using any at all (which I love btw) and don't accentuate their best bits.

Natural Makeup is about enhancing your best features using makeup techniques you might not use in your day to day regime and making sure you look as great on camara as you do in real life. But rest assured you won't be cakey, orange, clown-like etc....you will be you, always 🩷
