Sasha’s Project
Sasha’s Project a drop-in crisis centre for young people who are struggling with their mental health
Sasha’s Project is a charity which has been set up in memory of Sasha, a Hampshire girl who died by su***de when she was just 20. Sasha’s struggles were exacerbated by the lack of help available to her when her mental health was poor. When she was feeling suicidal, she needed compassion, support and a safe place to go to, especially during the night. The Project is running a drop-in crisis centre

In 2019, we introduced a new award for the procession entries, in memory of Sasha Forster, the Sasha Forster Peoples Choice Carnival Award.
Sasha loved Fleet Carnival, spectating every year until 2017, when she sadly passed away aged just 20. She wanted everyone to enjoy and take part in community events, to support and recognise efforts, so her family donated this award in Sasha’s memory.
The Sasha Forster Award is made each year to the procession entry that is voted most popular by the public and for 2024, we're delighted to announce the winners are...
Heatherside Schools!
