These delicious fresh Boquerones, aka anchovies to you and I, have just been added to our menu.

Served in vinager with virgin olive oil and topped with fresh parsley they are a welcome new addition to our small plates offering.

Opening weekend 🌈

As the sun set on our opening weekend last night the early evening sky was lit up by this beautiful rainbow.

It felt great to have our doors open all weekend long for the first time and with visits from friends, family, tourists and locals alike we were feeling warm and fuzzy (and maybe a bit tipsy 🤪) all weekend long.

We can't thank you enough for visiting and discovering our little secluded corner of Folkestone as well as some top notch plonk 🍾🍷🍇.

We are now open:

Home Sweet Home 🏡

What a day 🍇 🍷 🌞

We had the pleasure of spending the day at - Monte Bello in Santa Cruz yesterday.

Nestled up in the northern mountains above Santa Cruz and surrounded by vineyards as far as the eyes can see, this amazing estate produces some of the finest grape juice in the business.

It uses a single vineyard philosophy that it's championed since 1962 and my god you can see why.

We had the pleasure of tasting some of their current produce as well as vintage bottles as while also being given an extensive tour of the site.

Expect plenty of their finest produce on our shelves when we open and keep an eye on our feed for more from our whistle stop American wine tasting tour in the next few days.

We're out in California trying out, testing and selecting wines for the shop. It's the final tasting before we open and we've found some beautiful new wines to add to our list.

There's no place like Home 🏡

They say you shouldn’t high on your own stock 🤪 but alas, we are back at it, with another back garden wine tasting in the sunshine 🔆

These two beauties will 100% be going on the shelves when we open. Ones a beautiful Fragrant and ethereal American Chardonnay from the Santa Rita Hills 🇺🇲 & the other is an Italian Soave - from the stony hills of Veneto, Italy 🇮🇹.

Both these delicious wines are perfect served ice cold and in the sun, which is exactly what we need right now!

We’re the newbie in town but we are so excited to be joining a host of amazing, independent local businesses in our seaside home!

We can’t wait to be open and are proud to say we couldn’t be in better company on Rendezvous Street alongside spots like & and many more.

We can't wait to get to know all our new neighbors even better over the coming weeks and become part of the community.

Delivery Day 📭

We’ve just taken delivery of some of our new furniture for the bar. 🪑

These tall leather stools are going to be the perfect spot to sit with a glass or two of some of the best wine from around the world
🍷and the best small plates in Kent.

It's so good to see all our hard work and planning coming together and we can't wait to have these set up and the shelves bulging with bottles very soon.
