Good evening

Thank you for all your recent messages, enquiring about the KHS for 2022.

As you’re aware farming is going to be tricky this year with our costs being increased dramatically so sadly we need to focus on this.

I’m sorry but we’ve decided to postpone this years show until next year when hopefully I can be a bit more organized and rally up some help as it was jolly tricky last year with just a handful of people being their to lend their support on the day.

Have a fantastic eventing/showing Summer and I’ll let you know our plans going forwards.

If you’d be interested in being on the committee then please let me know as these local, community, sponsorship funded shows are so much fun to be involved in.

I’ve been asked whether I’d run another and I think yes is the right answer. 🤪

The question I’m being asked is whether they’ll be an equestrian shopping experience next time?

What are your thoughts or perhaps you sell equestrian wear or gifts?

What a day!

Thank you to everyone that attended the first in a very long time Kingsley Horse Show.

A huge thank you to the stewards and judges who gave their time and to all the helpers ❤️

The turnout was incredible and I’ve had so many messages of thanks and congratulations 🎉

I’ve never run a horse show before and honestly I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of my two heroes, Alastair my wonderful husband for encouraging everything I do and to Lucie Ward for being secretary, it’s a tough job but she nailed it and I can’t thank her enough.

Next year? Bigger, better, watch this space……………

Only a few days to go before entries close and we need more entries for the 70/80/90cms.

A few questions that I’m being regularly asked -

The venue entrance is wide enough for a large horse box/lorry 🚛

The event is on a grass field which will be mown before the show. 🌱

There will be drinks, cake, hot food and ice creams at the show 🍦

The booking of classes and their timings is ultimately your responsibility to check but of course we will do everything to accommodate you. 🐴

There is not a trade village/stands at the event, if this year is a success we will have one next year. 🎁

We have a mobile tack shop on site so if you forget anything then don’t worry 🐎

There will be signs at the top of the road B3004 leading you to the venue 🪧

New Forest Jumps -

Are supplying a full set of jumps for our show, which will look amazing in the field. Can't wait to see them set up! There will also be a practice ring with a few jumps to get you warmed up.

Ring 1 Condition and Turnout start time 8.30am
After 11.00am Fun classes

Ring 2 Clear Round jumping start time 9.00am starting at 50cm

Ring 3 In Hand Showing start time 9am classes 4-7
after 11.00am classes 8-11
Championship
Child Handler Classes 12-14 followed by
championship

Ring 4 Ridden Showing start time 9am classes 15-18
after 12.00pm classes 19-25
Ridden Championship

Ring 5 Show Jumping 8.30am start with Cross poles, then 50cm, 60cm, 65cm pairs, 70cm, 80cm and then 90cm
