WOW, what an amazing 8 weeks it has been!!
15 ladies 8 weeks and all achieved some incredible results. Fat loss, more confidence, stronger, dropped dress sizes, healthier structured lifestyle & so much more π₯
I have loved this course, i have loved seeing these women change every week, seeing their confidence grow π
Greatful that this is my job helping women fall in love with their bodies all love again π

Carol is 70 years old, she came to me for Personal Training and hadn't really done a lot of weight training but wanted to drop some body fat and build some strength & fitness.
That's exactly what she did !

Do you ever wonder why you're not seeng progress in the gym? Your lifting heavy and you are training with good form.... but still no progress π€
Your mind muscle connection could be what's stopping youβοΈ
Concentrating on the exact muscles that you want to feel contracting when you're doing an exercise. This will help you use more muscle fibers, allowing you to grow muscle and help build more strength.
Here are a few tips that will help πͺ
1. Please slow down your reps!!
I often see people training rushing through their reps and sets quick to get it done. Although your still doing all your reps if you dont have that connection with your muscle you may as well not be doing it at all.
2. Before you start your set stop close your eyes, visualise where you want to be feeling each rep.
3. Touch the muscle you want to work, i know this may sound weird but is it tense does it feel like it's getting pumped?

Summer Shred Girlies π
A big shoutout to my summer shred girls! We are nearly 3 weeks into the course and already some big results from weight loss, building confidence to healthier lifestyle changes πͺ
I couldnt be happier as a coach with the hard work, dedication and discipline these girls are putting into the course β‘
It's not easy but it will 100% be worth it π

10 Mile Walk for Mental Health π
I am organising a walk with my clients, class members, friends & family for an amazing charity called MIND.
Exercise plays a huge part in our mental health and has helped so many of us over the years, so what better way to give something back to an amazing charity whilst exercising.
We will be meeting outside the Bears Paw in Frodsham and setting of at 10:30am on Sunday 30th June walking 5 miles along the Sandstone Trail and 5 miles back to the Bears Paw were we can enjoy a well deserved drink π»

There's no progress without struggle, you need those failed reps to progress πͺ
You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable, and if every rep is easy, then you're not training hard enough.
Next time you train, try a couple of extra reps at the end of your sets or increase your weights by a few kilograms and see if you can push yourself a little bit more.

- Tracking calories
- More water & protein

Still able to go out for meals with family & weekends away, the key is balance once you find the right balance you will smash it π
EGO LIFTING βοΈ
Something I see a lot & something i have done many times myself.
We all want to lift heavy because it looks good or because we believe that that's how to grow muscle.
When actually you probably have bad form because other muscle groups are trying to help lift the weight because it's too heavy for the muscle your actually wanting to work. This then causes poor from & mind muscle connection & even injuriesβοΈ
Progressive overload isn't just about lifting heavy. Focus on that mind muscle connection and your training ex*****on.
πΊοΈ Slow down your reps
πΊοΈ Drop the weight
πΊοΈ Really connect & focus on the muscle being worked
πΊοΈ Time under tension
You will notice better results & without a bad back π
I'm now not embarrassed to tell my training partner that I want to drop the weight, no one really cares how much weight you lift, no one is probably even watching because there focusing on their own workout

A transformation does not have to mean weight loss!
As you can see from these photos, this client wanted to grow her glutes & that's what we did π
If you feel good in your own skin & are happy with how you look, then why waste your time getting on the scales because in reality, if you're building muscle, those scales will increase but if your feeling amazing with how you look & feel then who cares πββοΈ
