A nasty shock for one of our customers who were experiencing a lack of hot water,

After a swift inspection by our expert gas safe registered engineer, it was found the heat exchanger block to be full of sludge and rust particles that had built up over time.

This build up can cause damage to your system over time and we recommended a full system flush to remove trapped rust, scale and sludge.

To further reduce this happening again, a system inhibitor is added to the system for better longevity and efficiency for your boiler.

Another laminate job done.

Easy work today for Craig, customer wanted rid of the carpets and replaced with laminate flooring to make it easier to clean given she had small children in the house.

Craig put his skills to good use and we have another happy customer, so much so she's already booked us in to laminate the dining room.

This morning we've been working for the Utilia Arena which is one of the commercial properties the Combined Team look after.

As you can see one of the indusrial down pipes for rain water was damaged. The damaged section has been removed and replaced by a new pipe and fittings. Tested and signed off.

We attended a job for a customer who had an issue with no gas being supplied to their commercial kitchen.

After investigation we found that the gas solanoid on their gas proven safety system was faulty.

We replaced the part and got their kitchen up in running and serving hot food again in no time, happy customer and punters.

Stop the leak...

A customer called us to report their warehouse stop tap had a leak and needed it resolved as the water on the floor was becoming a hazard to customers and staff.

As you can see from the photos the stop tap had seen drier days and had a huge amount of limescale build up.

Arron attended the unit and worked his magic replacing the old corroded pipes with some nice shiny new copper.

No more leaks, some fine looking pipe work, one happy customer and a good job done.

Teamed up with Dean at Electraheat North East Limited today to carry out a flush the right way.

Customer recently had the boiler replaced and was left with a number of radiators not working due to sludge build up and blockages.

Carried out the work with a fellow heating engineer and fully flushed out the heating system. Removed individual radiators & cleared them out.

Another happy customer with an improved efficient fully working heating system, heating there home correctly and saving on those gas bills.

Straight lines sir.

Our head joiner craig proud of his flooring as he should be.

We visited this property back in January where the tenants home was swimming in around two inches of water due to faulty waste pipes.

Our company resolved the drainage issue and Craig was back to put the final touches on this basement flat by installing new laminate flooring.

As you can see the grooves in the flooring match up perfectly and we've added beading to match the laminate.

A nice coastal drive

Today's call out was too the Victoria Hotel in Bamburgh.

We received a call off the customer stating their boiler wasn't working properly with the heating and hot water not working inline with each other.

After a quick 15 minute assessment we were able to diagnose the issue to be fan related. The fan is now ordered with a view of it being fitted in the next 24 hours.

Another job done for The Caddy Shack in Durham by our head joiner Craig.

This time we were asked to build a stud wall on the outside of the property so the companies decals could be placed on it.

We started by building the frame for the wall as you can see in the picture below, we then used kingspan insulation boards to protect the inside from the cold when the shutters were open.

The outside was then covered in marine ply to protect the structure from the elements and standard ply was installed on the inside.

As you can see this has turned out brilliant and instead of boring old rusty shutters greeting the customers they now have some amazing art work at the front of the property which gives it a much more appealing look.

There's a first for everything.

We've carried out some work for The Caddy Shack in Durham which is a virtual golf experience.

We were contacted and asked if we would be able to build a new bar as they were carrying out renovation works in the property, its something we've never done before but were confident we could deliver on what they asked of us.

So as you see below in the last photo the old bar was small, basic and offered no storage.

The new bar offers ample space to store many glasses, snacks and drinks including the chiller which is now built into the frame of the bar itself, we've built this to last with a sound u shape structure that does not budge and offers a much more professional look than the old one.

Ian the owner and his wife were blown away by the improvements and is looking forward to standing behind her new bar serving pints to customers.
