Summer Market in Tintwistle raises money for Glossop cat rescue The event saw the Tinsle Summer Market collaborate with the Tintwistle Climate Emergency Campaign for the first time for their Go Green event.

Thanks to your very kind donations on the Children’s Activities Stall, Tombola and Door Fees at our Summer Market we’ve donated £200 to the incredible Glossop Cat Rescue 🐈‍⬛🐈

If you haven’t had a mooch on there page about the amazing work they do and the gorgeous cats and kittens up for adoption, you need to!

Local residents, please be aware this Sunday there will be no parking on Sexton St from 3pm 13th July until 8pm 14th of July.

All stall holders and market volunteers will be parking on the playing field. Parking on new road shouldn’t be affected.

We’ve got a great line up for you! We’ve got some great food and drinks from Cask & Kitchen, Glossop and some Epic Pizza! We will have children’s activities all day from Glossop Military Fitness - Group Fitness and PT 🙌🏻 Also some great live music to keep you entertained!

Over 20 local stalls…. including face painting, coffee, ice cream, crafts, homemade gifts, cakes, sweets, Tombola, go green event and so much more ⬇️

Santa’s Elves have been working very hard to create a Grotto for Santa HIMSELF who will be visiting Tintwistle Christmas Market on Sunday 10th December…we are so excited that he is coming to see us!! 🎅

Santa will be in his grotto from 11am - 2pm on the day and we’re very lucky to have The Grinch taking over at 2pm. Elves and Mrs Christmas will also be there!!

Each child visiting Santa will receive a selection box from the Big Man himself! There is just a minimum donation of £2 per child to see him and all proceeds will be going to help the animals at Haywill Animal Rescue this Christmas.

It’s C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S!!! 🎅
