Firstly, we hope you had a great Christmas and that you are off to a good start in 2015!
Well it has arrived, yes it is time to make that New Year Resolution and the most common is to get fit and healthy! That is where we come in. We can make your new year resolution actually happen!
Check out Michaela’s story, she decided that enough was enough and she was going to take action rather than make excuses.
“I'd wanted to try Be Fit Outside boot camp for months and during the summer holidays I decided I had to take the plunge. I'm a bit of a fitness fanatic anyway, but I knew I needed to improve my nutrition and also increase the intensity of my workouts. Doing the same thing repeatedly doesn't advance you, it just maintains the status quo and I wasn't happy with that. I NEEDED to up the ante, my body wasn't going to look and feel any better otherwise. This was all about my personal journey, and if you want to make those changes then you have to want them for yourself.
In September I bit the bullet and signed up for 3 months. I was a little reticent about this, I really do enjoy my wine and chocolate treats and wasn't sure how I would manage 3 months without!! However, I discovered that treats ARE allowed every couple of weeks (phew!) and I've gone 6 whole weeks without during Lent; so I knew I could find the willpower. Motivation is what got me started, habit is what kept me going - and that's a very important thing to keep in mind.
Fast track to today, Christmas Eve, and not only did I survive those 3 months, I signed up for the next 3! I've just finished week 3 of Month 4 and we're now on a 2 week Christmas break. I've lost around 24lbs (almost 2 stone!) of body fat, built lean muscle (which helps burn fast faster, hurray!) and I feel and look amazing. Under the expert guidance of Heather, I've been pushed to my personal physical limits, have discovered the joys and benefits of a clean eating lifestyle and can honestly say I'm on this for life. The support and friendship from the group has been second to none too - I've made some lovely new friends and we all help one another with moral support.
All I can say in conclusion is, if you WANT a healthier body badly enough, then you CAN do it. Get in touch today and start sorting yourself out - you won't regret it and your body will thank you by returning the care you've shown it.”
Michaela made a lifestyle choice and she chose a healthy one! In just 16 short weeks she dropped 33.5 inches and almost 2 stone of body fat.
