Thoughts and prayers with Donald Trump after the attempted assassination this evening at a rally.

The far-left are a clear and present danger.

We are extremely shocked by the abhorrent attack on two women at the Gurdwara in Gravesend yesterday evening. Our thoughts are with them and the entire community and we hope for a speedy recovery of the victims.

We stand firmly with our Sikh friends during this time, and hope justice is served quickly and the reasons behind this horrible attack addressed to prevent such things happpening again in future. There is no place for anti-Sikh attacks in Gravesend and indeed anywhere in the UK.

We have 5 MPs. Under Proportional Representation we would have nearly 100 MPs.

Reform UK will continue to campaign for Proportional Representation.

Everyone who travels on the roads in north Kent is well aware of the traffic congestion which affects most daytime journeys.

One of the main causes of congestion is the complete failure of successive Conservative governments, despite the empty manifesto promises, to bring immigration under control.

One of Reform’s top priorities in our first 100 days in office is to achieve “net zero” immigration. However we recognise the need for additional infrastructure in north Kent to cope with existing demand.

We therefore support projects such as the Thames Gateway Tramlink and the Lower Thames Crossing.

However we wish to make it clear that we do not support what is known as Option C of the Lower Thames Crossing whereby it joins with the A2 to the west of Thong.

We would prefer an option that increases northbound capacity at the Dartford Crossing.
