This tiger is now coming along nicely. Added details around the eyes to make it pop. I think I like pastels. This is the first time I’ve used this medium so I’m learning as I work through this piece.

Progress was made today on my new portrait. This is the first time I’ve used pastel pencils. I’m liking the new medium, let’s see where it takes me. Xx

Ive finally finished this beautiful Bassett Hound. 27 hours of work. A3 strathmoor smooth using faber castell pencils.

Although this beautiful Bassett Hound has been a long process inbetween recovery, I’m now seeing the time paying off.
The facial features are definitely bringing it to life.
