Guided meditation is a new offer for 2023 from Macmillan Horizon Centre for people living with and beyond cancer.
The one-hour sessions aim to improve concentration, aid relaxation, reduces stress & anxiety and help improve sleep.
No need to book - a series of drop-in sessions will take place lunchtime, 12-1 pm, on 27 Jan, 3 Feb, 10 Feb and 24 Feb.

Cancer doesn't stop for Christmas.
Sadly, the side effects can make it difficult for some people to participate fully.
We've produced some top tip videos to support patients and their loved ones with health and wellbeing issues. From managing pain caused by cancer, or lack of sleep, to coping with anxiety or the side effects of treatment, these short films have advice from therapists, dieticians and oncologists from across Surrey and Sussex.

Health inequalities: breaking down barriers to cancer screening In this instalment of our Health Inequalities series, we take a look at some of the barriers that can make it harder for some people to access cancer screening.
Blood in your wee is the most common symptom of bladder cancer. 🩸
It can be evident, for example, when your wee is bright red, rusty or pink.
Sometimes it can be invisible and can only be found by your doctor by testing a sample of your wee.🏥
Other symptoms of bladder cancer can be any or a number of the following: urinary infections that don’t respond to antibiotics, frequently needing to wee, pain when weeing, tiredness and weight loss.📣
If you are concerned about any symptoms, please get in touch with your GP.
