International Women's Day 2021 is on Monday 8th March and Birmingham County FA are running a live Q&A session at 6pm. We will be joined by numerous guest speakers including players and staff members from local WSL clubs Birmingham City and Aston Villa, Championship side Coventry United and a local EFL referee.

We would like to invite you to join us on the night and help us to support International Women's Day. Please register your interest by clicking here.

29th March we have the green light to GO GO GO 😍

The girls cannot wait to get back into action but unfortunately the long lay off has come at a cost with our GK deciding not to continue with football, we thank her for all she’s done and wish her all the best, she’s been a great member of the team and we will all miss her.

This is where all you guys come in tho, we need to replace her, which is a difficult task as it takes a special kind of person to play in goal. If anybody knows of someone who maybe interested then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We have a great bunch of friendly girls and we also have our very own dedicated GK coach in the form of Ashleigh Legge who herself is a top rated keeper.

So if anybody at all knows of a 13/14 year old girl who’s looking for a new challenge with full support and commitment offered please get in touch ❤️⚽️💙

As most of you are probably aware, the prime minister will be announcing at 7pm tonight the first steps to easing lockdown in the UK and the impact it will have on us all.
And like many of us, there will be lots of unanswered questions especially around the return of grassroots football.

In light of the anticipated briefing, SDYFL league will be holding a zoom meeting directly after Boris Johnson’s announcement, to discuss what happens next.

Please note we are governed by the FA and Birmingham FA on issuing guidance after the government and this is never dealt with quickly by the FA.

So please be patient with any league announcement following tonight’s briefing as it may be a few days before we can confirm our position going forward.

We all want football to return and in the safest possible way.

⚽️ FREE ONLINE ZOOM SESSIONS ⚽️
Develop Her Game will be providing FREE online Zoom sessions every Wednesday and Saturday for girls of all ages and abilities. Our Wednesday sessions will be age specific Strength & Conditioning/Agility, Balance and Co-ordination exercises and our Saturday sessions will be ball mastery focused. All sessions will require limited space so that they can be carried out indoors, and the timetable is as follows:

Foundation Phase (Ages 5-11):
Wednesday 17:00 - 17:45 & Saturdays 10:00 - 10:45

Youth Development Phase (Ages 12-16):
Wednesday 18:00 - 19:00 & Saturdays 11:00 - 12:00

Professional Phase/Open Age (Ages 16+):
Wednesdays 19:15 - 20:15
All of our sessions will be delivered and monitored by UEFA/FA qualified coaches who are players/coaches for teams within The FA Women’s National League and The FA Girls' England Talent pathway.

We are looking for 2/3 players to join the team, and for the move to 11v11.

We train on Tuesdays in Halesowen @ 7pm - 8pm and matches are played in the SDYFL girls league on Saturday mornings.

Looking for girls who are enthusiastic, willing to learn & work hard. Even if you haven’t played in a team before or your looking for a new team and challenge.
We are a family friendly club and a great team both on & off the pitch.

With the news of the latest lockdown, grassroots football has once again come to a halt, meaning all training and games are suspended until further notice. This also applies to our wildcats mini halas sessions.

For 2021 we are proud to say we will be supporting & donating to boots 2 Africa.

We will be specifically donating to the PHOEBE girls and woman’s refuge Charity in Harare, Zimbabwe with donations of outgrown football boots, Old halas kits and sports bras.

Therefore if any if the Halas girls will be getting new boots off Santa for Christmas or if they have any boots they have outgrown along with sports bras and the old halas Hawks kits (red & blue stripped kit) please donate.

Halas Hawks Warriors 2-1 Sutton Coldfield Jnr

Well, that’s a wrap for this year folks and what a way to end it 😊

The girls where amazing today and battled for everything. Two great goals from our little left footed dynamo Jas today saw us take all 3 points but there wasn’t a girl on the pitch today who didn’t contribute to the win.

We asked the girls at training Wednesday to go out today and deliver us the best Christmas pressie possible, get us the win and 3 points and they did exactly that, leaving us 4th in the table at the close of the year.

It’s been a funny old year for everyone, 2020 certainly won’t be forgotten but let’s look forward to 2021 and hopefully plenty more football.

From all of us involved with the team, we would like to thank everyone of you for the support you’ve shown, the girls see all the comments and likes so it’s very much appreciated.
