You may have noticed I have been a bit quiet on the grid recently & this is the reason why! I’ve been busy beavering away on this series of illustrations for the fabulous .

I had the pleasure of creating an image of Olivia & her two sons after she saw an image I had created of a mother holding her child. I was delighted when she got back in touch a few months later, wanting help illustrating her brand for her brand new website & socials.

I was lucky to have a fair amount of flexibility with the brief - which was easy to navigate as Olivia & I were on the right wavelength from the start! The challenge was keeping my creativity controlled - once the juices started flowing it was difficult to stop me! (.astbury can concur).

My World

For I was your sun, the only warmth you needed before you saw a sunrise with your own eyes.

I was your star, before they dusted across your gaze with possibility and wonder.

I was your moon, your only pull, before you noticed the comforting light in the nights blanket.

I was your universe for such a short while, until you saw there was so much more.
