Coming back from another set back! 💯
The last week has been a bit crazy. From being down and out from what felt like Covid to having to cancel the Dublin Marathon to buying a new van and getting that all kitted out again.
Sometimes things are sent to test you but it’s all about how you bounce back.
Thank you to everyone with the messages (sorry for being crap with the replies) 😬 and THANK YOU to everyone who donated for the marathon.
Just under £700 donated towards and don’t worry there’s always another challenge up in the mix.

Sometimes in life s**t happens to you for no apparent reason.
How you choose to bounce back will determine your true character. 💯
8 years ago to date I started this PT journey.
One thing I learned VERY quickly is I underestimated how hard everything would be. From not knowing where the next pay check would come from as back then I was earning £60 per week from my clients, yes £60!
Fast forward to now and I’m so lucky and grateful to be doing what I do every single day.
What they don’t teach you as you’re trying to get qualified is how to run your business, how to acquire and keep your customers. And to learn to juggle 20 plates at the same time with everything else.
The biggest take away from all of this is if it feels right for you then find ways of making it happen.

Stop shying away from hard work. Specially when you’re working on yourself. 💯
Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. 💯
Mental health is just like your physical health.
You have to work on it day in and day out. 💯
Start to push the boundaries you put on yourself and you’ll see a better version of you at the end of it.
In everything you’re doing try and do that extra 1 rep, that extra 1k. If you’re running everyday day, think about adding 1k to your runs. It might not seem much but if you do that for 30 days that’s 30km extra (more than a half marathon) that month! Same concept for when you are repping the weights out in the gym. The compound interest will have a massive effect on how quickly you get to your desired health and fitness goal. Just something to think about! 4 weeks out of Dublin Marathon! 2 sets of 100kg x6 on shoulders. Strengthening the shoulders in case I have to crawl 26.2 miles 🤣🤦🏽♂️Hope you’ve had a good Friday people. Finish your week off strong! ✌🏽

With years of experience in Ballet and contemporary dance. (yes I did ballet) 🩰 🤣🤦🏽♂️ I’m bringing a different outlook on stretching and mobility work.
