We're making some changes you might like to know about...

When we launched VÉLOKIND in 2022, we set out to create an inclusive brand for fellow riders who share our passion for cycle culture and understand the freedom of being out on the bike - a sense of freedom we hope will act as fuel for positive change, just as it has and continues to do for us as the brand evolves.

The key word here being inclusive. There's no in-crowd with VÉLOKIND. We all know the spirit of cycling, which is really no different now to what it was when we were kids out playing on bikes. It's for all of us.

Cycling can be an expensive gig, but it doesn't have to be that way. We'll continue to do our little bit by creating a premium product without the price tag in a sustainable way. That will never change.

With this in mind, and to support our mission to inspire positive change as widely as possible, from today onwards all EU and Rest of World orders will be inclusive of customs duties - no nasty surprise delivery charges for our friends outside of the UK.

I do ride my bike...

Just not as often as I'd like to. Anyone else in that camp?

It's been a difficult period. I've made some decisions, not all of which have come off, but I believe they are the right decisions for the long term. As a result, I've had to prioritise needs off the bike.

Good afternoon everyone,

I didn't get an opportunity yesterday but I wanted to say thank you for all your support throughout 2022. Thank you.

It was a strange year for me personally, characterised by a lot of uncertainty and punctuated by several highs and lows which left me a little weary towards the end, I don't mind telling you.

I'm hugely proud of what we have achieved with velokind in 2022, but am very much looking forward to this new year and being blessed with an opportunity to go again. A short, refreshing ride in some beautiful weather this morning helped me put things in perspective.

I'm really grateful for the friendships I have formed through this platform, particularly over the last 12 months, and am looking forward to following your unique paths through life in 2023.

I hope 2023 is everything you want it to be. Whatever that is, may you have the opportunity and courage to pursue it...on and off the bike.

Hard to believe it was 12th November today.
