1 month to go until our Summer BBQ! The summer BBQ is for all members and their families, a lovely evening to have fun with your gym friends and for the adults to socialise too! As well as the BBQ there will be some Garden Games, Bouncy obstacle course, Glitter Tattoos to name a few bits! We are sure the gymnasts will love it and we can't wait to see you all there! ⚡️What a fabulous weekend for Harrogate Gymnastics Team Gym section! ⚡️ This past weekend they had a dress rehearsal for Gymnaestrada 2023! Just under 100 days to go before the main event starts, an event with more then 50 nations and almost 19,000 participants due to be taking place in Amsterdam! The World Gymnaestrada is the FIG’s biggest event in terms of participation numbers, a non-competitive festival of sport which provides a wonderful showcase for Gymnastics for All. Inclusivity for all, this chimes perfectly with Amsterdam’s reputation for tolerance and diversity. Have a little sneak peak at what they have been up to! Also remember we are still raising money for those that are going, which includes our book sale in reception! So proud of Emily competing at the World championships in Azerbaijan this morning she not only gave it her all and performed beautifully (despite her Tramp shoe coming off in one of the passes!) she also demonstrated what an amazing gymnast she is in supporting her team mates through out the competition.
