Net/amorphoses by Amber Newband

Immerse yourself in an explosion of texture and colour with Net/amorphoses that talks about the exploration of plastic netting, we get mainly with our food products. We are unable to recycle the majority of this plastic but we are told by companies to “turn our packaging into something new” rather than these big companies that have lots of money to spend to come up with more sustainable options, instead they have put the responsibility on to us.

This summer course will begin by us assessing your existing numeracy skills to find where your areas for development are. We will then work with you to give you a strong knowledge base so you can be confident in your ability to study for your GCSE maths, from September.

A blast from the past!

Last week, former Art and Design foundation degree learners Ulyssa MacMillian and Peta Murphy came to visit, 25 years after completing their course. 🎨

Since completing the course, the pair have gone on to have amazing careers.

Peta currently serves as the Lead Learning Architect at Coventry University, whilst Ulyssa is the current Vice President of Product Platform at Evaluate Ltd.

It was so lovely to see our former students' success and hear their fond memories of Harrogate College.
