Mandala Coasters - Available 23/06/22 over in my Etsy Store.

💫 WHAT are Mandalas?

⭐️A mandala is a symbol of the universe in its ideal form, and its creation signifies the transformation of a universe of suffering into one of joy.

⭐️A mandala generally represents the spiritual journey, starting from outside to the inner core, through layers.

⭐️It can also be used as an aid to meditation, helping the meditator to envision how to achieve the perfect self.

💬 So What is Terrazzo?

🌸 Terrazzo is a technique where small pieces of material are dispersed within another material.
For example - marble, quartz and granite chips mixed with a resin to create floor tiles.

💮What is amazing about Jesmonite? (Eco-Resin) You can create your own coloured chips and then mix them within the resin and they bind together.

🌸These images show the stages of production.

1. Candle stick holders removed frim the mold.
2. Candle stick holders sanded to reveal the white chips.
3. Candle stick holder sealed with wax to protect and enhance the colour.
