Ankle mobility is very important for athletes yet can be one of the most overlooked joints in Golf.
Having good ankle mobility can reduce risk of injury and allow for better movement patterns (squats for example)
When using the ground to generate power, footwork is crucial, lacking mobility or stability in the ankle joint can contribute to loss of power and balance within the swing.
Here we have professional golfer @davidlangleygolf demonstrating 3 very simple moves before a lower body session to ensure his ankle mobility is up to scratch and bulletproof.
Give each move a go, 3 sets of 10 reps twice a week to start. Then progress to a heavier band and more frequency.
