Today we couldn't help wishing we were strolling past Rye House in the late 18th or early 19th century in order to see the Malting Houses which were there at the time. These are now long since demolished and Rye House is now a standalone building. Note the corkscrew chimney on the house. This beautiful pen and wash drawing is another gorgeous drawing from Frederick Luppino's sketchbook and the reference for this drawing is DE/X1039/1/41.
