Yesterday a lovely lady came into the Gaff coffee shop and banked a coffee for Derek , today our regular, busker , a lovely young girl you probably have seen her , she’s blond and has a lovely smile , and sings opposite our coffee shop
The Gaff , well today she set up , and before she got going the busker that plays guitar outside coffee, Nero , came up to her and told her she would have to move in an hour , as his music was going to be loud and with her singing would not be good , I asked him maybe he could turn his down a bit and she said she could turn hers down , he was having none of it , next I noticed he had reported her and she was then being told she would have to move somewhere else , I looked over and the poor girl. Was crying , how could someone be so cruel? She was so upset and was going to go home , but after a chat and a coffee , she went next to  mountain warehouse , where she did well , she came and thanked me later , next week hopefully she will be back opposite our coffee shop , we miss her lovely smile . 


It may be cold, wet and windy - but come into The Gaff coffee shop, meet friends and enjoy a light lunch and glass of wine. Tomorrow we will be getting festive with Baileys Irish cream lattes, Kahlúa, hot chocolate and the mulled wine is brewing!!

Great day yesterday, Christmas light switch on , so many people turned out , fantastic for our town

Thank you to the lady that banked a hot drink and food for Derek , last Friday , he very much appreciated it , and is looking forward to having it this week. We won’t forget his dog there will be a treat Bently as well .
