It is with a heavy heart that we must inform everyone that today will be our last day of trading at The Railway.

We have really enjoyed our short time here however, due to many unfounded complaints week after week we have had to draw a line.

We will be closing at 11pm tonight. We will still be in the village for the next 2 weeks and so will say goodbye to as many people as we can during this time.

Our homemade steak pies flew out this week with several requests to take them home to cook for family dinners.

Because of this, we will now be selling our homemade pies not just as a meal but also warm as a bar snack, or available to cook at home!

KITCHEN CLOSED DUE TO INJURY

Connor has been a bit of a plonker (to put it nicely) and cut himself badly meaning he’s had to have his fingers glued back together.

Because of this, the kitchen will be closed this week. We will be open as normal from next week - just with slightly less right forefinger 😒

Unfortunately once again Admiral Taverns and ourselves have been let down by the supplier Matthew Clarke (https://www.facebook.com/MatthewClarkLtd) whom have said they will not be delivering our beer order this week.

Join us at The Railway for our first STEAK NIGHT on the 17th! 🥩🥩

Tables available from 6-9pm.
Tables & Steaks must be pre-booked and a deposit of £5pp paid in advanced. Limited tables available. Unfortunately we are not able to offer walk in tables on this occasion.

This will be the only menu we are offering in the evening of the 17th June.

A vegetarian option will be available. Please enquire when booking.
