A new use for old socks, a friend told me this. For a quick and efficient way to clean grime from venetian blinds, put a slightly damp sock over your hand and run it between the slats, then put in the washer. A clean damp sock is also a hassle free to wipe skirting boards and picture frames

How to takle murky vases for cloudy glass. Try swishing round a handful of uncooked rice in warm water, this will scour the grime off. Leave overnight and then put the vases in the dishwasher

I hack I've done this week that we may miss in your cleaning regime in the bathroom is our toothbrush holder. Put some hot water in the sink and give a good wipe with a microfibre cloth. And then a good spray on watered-down Zoflora

Why not clear our make-up brushes. Wet the bristles with lukewarm water & place a drop of make-up brush cleanser or liquid soap onto a kitchen roll. Twist round and dry off in natural room temperature. Hey presto clean brushes

We've used alot of hand sanitiser lately. But what I've been thinking about is to wipe our handbags and purses with an anti-bac wipe every couple of weeks, because we don't know how dirty our handbags get

As we are using our cars a little more. Let's give them a spring clean. I use Zoflora in all my clients house. But this week I've tried using diluted Zoflora in a spray bottle and a dry cloth. Wipe down your dashboard, steering wheel & all handles. Makes your car smell lovely

Let's make our lounge cushions on our sofa fresh. A new thing I've been trying is putting a single sheet of kitchen roll & a drop of Zoflora of your choice and putting it inside the cushion cover, and replacing them weekly. Lovely scents in your lounge

Find a cupboard for our kitchen gadgets. Clutter & disorganised homes raise our stress levels. Nowhere is this truer than in the kitchen. Work out what you really use, empty all your cupboards of utensils and kitchen gadgets. Only put back what you really use. But while the cupboard is empty, give it a wipe round with a wet microfibre cloth

Not really a cleaning hack but a tidy tip. A spring tip knowing how to take care of your daffodils in a vase, is a way to get most out of your spring blooms. No-one wants to see their spring spray wilt within a week. Just keep every daffodil separate from other flowers. After all having fresh flowers on display makes a home feel cheerful & welcome

Best DIY dusting spray to polish with. My creation I've put together and tried. It's a spray bottle with water, white wine vinegar & drops of essential oil. The olis polish & eliminate dust away for longer periods of time. Go on give it a go!

Organisation for cleaning is best for me. Often confused what product and cloth to use. Organising items will help you get on with your task of cleaning. I love the 'Mrs Hinch' labels which helps getting everything clear a look nice aswell

I've done it like this myself this week

Making your washing smell nice from out of the tumble dryer. A few drops of linen fresh Zoflora on some kitchen roll and put in with your washing into your dryer. Your own tumble dryer fresh sheets. It even stops some static aswell. Go on and give it a try!

Using your vacuum attachments can be handy hack. You can dust and clean your blinds, floors, vents, cabinets and pretty much anything else you notice as you make your way through the house. This is great for a quick clean before visitors or guests come over. Grab those attachments and they'll get the work done ✔
