Does your colour palette change if your hair colour changes?

YES in my system🙌🏼
My colour analysis system is slightly different to the traditional 4 season system and it includes your hair in your colour analysis.

As we get older our hair can change colour and our skin and eye colour can fade.

So if you have had your colours done before and either changed your hair colour or decided to embrace your natural colour and ditch the dye. Your colour palette could have changed.

“I’ve always loved wearing colour, but had a bit of a scattergun approach- and was pretty sure I missed the mark, often!
The colour consultation helped me focus on the colours that bring out the best in me, so I have a real confidence when it comes to choosing clothes online or in store.
I kept a diary for a few months of ‘my new wardrobe’ after the colour consultation, so I could see for myself the change in my clothing and also share with Rebecca a total success story based on her guidance!

“I’ve had my colours “done” a while ago, before deciding to let nature take its course and grow out my grey hair - but I was feeling drained and my face just felt grey - like my hair!

During the consultation Rebecca was really easy to talk to and she had photos and colour boards to explain everything really clearly. I was dreading being a “bright” since I love muted shades and sludgy khakis etc etc.

So of course I was a “bright - cool” 😂 and although Rebecca clearly demonstrated that these shades made my skin brighter I was a bit worried that I just wouldn’t enjoy wearing the colour palette given to me.

However, just one day later in Harvey Nichols after sampling a bright, clear pink lipstick shade a girl came up to me and told me how beautiful she thought I was.

Result!!

Since then I’ve made a Pinterest board of outfits I’m going to try in “my colours” and I’m loving it. I saved so much time packing for my holiday this year because I knew exactly what clothes to pack.

When I’m shopping I now know what to not bother looking at and feel excited again buying clothes - I just know they are going to make me feel confident. Priceless!

Since wearing my new shades I’ve had many compliments on how great I look, even from my teen daughter (tough crowd on the best days, right?)

I would recommend this treat to anyone who wants to feel more confident and save time and money when buying clothes.

Thought I would do a little explanation about these colour palette inspirations that pop up on here.

If you’ve had your colours done with me hopefully you find them useful sources for inspiration. They demonstrate colours from your palette that work beautifully together. They tick some of your palettes key principles, even if the is not an exact match.

If you have never had your colours done they are still fantastic way to identify colours you already have in your wardrobe that work well together.

It might not be your style, but it might certainly be your colours! Colour analysis is not about fashion or style (although it certainly can be) it’s about discovering your most flattering colours, those that harmonise with your natural features.

I spent the morning with Rebecca searching out my colours and having my make up done. I thoroughly enjoyed the session which was friendly, enjoyable, fun and extremely insightful. Rebecca is very knowledgeable in all things colours and style. She listened carefully to my requirements and I was really pleased with my make up and also the colour advice I was given. I particularly liked the handbag pocket guide which I’m going to be carrying with me when I go shopping for a wedding outfit. I would highly recommend a session with Rebecca.
