Here’s a shopfitted housing we’re creating for , ready to go into a retail store at St James Hospital in Leeds.

We’ve used EGGER Group laminates for the main construction of the housing. And we’re using Durasein for the worktops.

Banquettes are super popular right now. We’re getting a lot of requests from clients for this style of seating.

Banquettes are a good choice for space saving. Plus, they’re versatile, with lots of options for customisation. And they look great!

Here are some work in progress shots of one currently in manufacture at our in-house facility.

It’s being made with MDF frameworks and oak veneered panelling. And it’s just about ready to be clad with materials from Sunbury Design and Panaz Fabrics & Wallcoverings

Earlier this week we posted about some ongoing work at a topflight football club we’re doing with Benchmark.

Here are some work in progress shots for a bespoke wall sign we’re manufacturing for another hospitality area called Corner Flag at the same club.

We’ve used:

⚽️ Solid oak battens for the main feature, with oak lettering
⚽️ Our inhouse CNC machine for precision cutting of the Corner Flag letters
⚽️ The Deanhouse inhouse spray booth to lacquer it for a perfect finish

This is part of an exciting project we’re working on with Benchmark Designs for another topflight football club. ⚽️ ⚽️

Part of a multi-million-pound refurbishment, The Cells form part of a unique hospitality experience where the ground’s original prison cells used to be.

It’s one of 3 major areas and 4 smaller refurbishments we’re working on over the summer. All to be ready for the new football season to kick off 🙌 🙌

As part of the theme, we’ve had some fun creating a prison gate.

The course covers topics supporting small businesses to successfully grow. It gave us excellent insights into the steps Deanhouse needs to take for our business to become a market leading joinery manufacturer and interior fitout business.

Another week, another warm Deanhouse welcome to the latest addition to our ever-expanding team.

Oliver King joins us as an experienced bench joiner. He brings with him 35 years of experience, including 8 running his own business. For the rest he’s worked for high end domestic and commercial joinery manufacturing companies.

Oliver loves motorbikes, skiing and walking his dogs. 🏍️ ⛷️🐕

He’s slotted right into our friendly team. We’re delighted he’s joined us.

Meet our new Apprentice Joiner, Laura Humphreys 😊

Laura joined us in May and is just finishing her level 2 standard in Architectural joinery (Bench), before moving onto level 3.

Attending college once a week, she’s in our workshop for the other 4 days.

As she looks forward to gaining on-site experience, Laura has slotted right into the team, showing great initiative and enthusiasm.

We’re super happy to have her!

Just completed this lovely project for the Garden Office Cafe at the National Trust's Anglesey Abbey and Gardens for Space Group

We manufactured all the bespoke joinery and completed the fit out.

The café is now open and taking orders for sandwiches, snacks, pastries and drinks 😊

Did you know that April is stress awareness month?

Half of work-related ill health is due to stress, depression and anxiety.

The Health and Safety Executive has launched a campaign to make it routine to help prevent stress and support mental health at work.

And to encourage others in the manufacturing industry too.

They’ve shared 5 steps to follow over the course of the month to help alleviate stress.

Here are their 5 steps in 5 weeks:

01 Reach out and have conversations

02 Recognise the signs and causes of stress

03 Respond to any risks identified by agreeing action points

04 Reflect on the actions taken – have things improved?

05 Make it routine to check back in on how things are going?

Some completion shots from a midlands hospital project we’ve been working on with Actiform.

For this 18-ward hospital block, Actiform brought us in to do the interior fit out after their off-site modular construction phase was complete.

We installed:

- Flooring
- Ceilings
- Doors (including fire doors)
- IPS systems
- FF&E (supply & install)
- Decoration
- Hygienic wall cladding
- Wall protection (bump/hand rails, and bed head protectors)
- Fire stopping
