With such a precision-engineered recess, Mr Comeau made it pretty hard to remove the grilles on our beloved Lintons, like the speakers of old! Whilst its recommended to keep them on for optimal performance, for many of us it's a happy compromise!

Space hungry, but never fussy! 🔊

The base units in our Elysian series are equipped with downward-firing ports that vent through a gap between the base of the main speaker cabinet and the plinth. This helps reduce base distortion by easing the transition of high pressure inside the cabinet to lower pressure in your listening space. As a cheeky bonus it also makes them much easier to place 😉
