Well! That's it folks. Two boreholes sunk and pumping clean water and it's all down to your kind generosity. As well as Mutangama we now have Mwenda. The girls still have 3 more boreholes to go but I have every faith in them. Thank you all again!

All FM Radio Interview 13th Sept 2023
For anyone who missed hearing Pam and myself on All FM Radio last week and would like to hear what we had to say there are 2 links below. The 1st is to the website and the 2nd to Mixcloud. Ann also played 4 tracks from the website. The final track, whilst introduced as Cold Rain is in fact Don’t Wait Too Long. Ann can be excused of this as it was her first day back after a 6 month break. We were honoured that she chose to interview us. Thanks Ann.

Graham's ‘From The Annexe’ album 'Life'
Fundraiser for Oasis Relief Zambia
Total Raised £1115

I am overwhelmed to be able to tell you that we have raised £1115, not including any gift aid we may receive. Having only had a Borehole Challenge at Christmas, where we raised £2110, I was being very optimistic running another one so soon after and did not expect to raise even this much. Your generosity is overwhelming. Bernadette and Pam, the 2 trustees of the charity, are flying out to Zambia on 5th October , at their own expense to supervise 8 more boreholes being dug, and to see how the schools and clinics are getting on. They are also taking with them some school uniforms that have been generously donated. This is why I ran another one so soon, so they had as much funds as possible to take with them.

When I started the fundraisers it was costing about £2000 to sink a borehole. Since then the exchange rate has gone in our favour and it is now about £1500 to sink a borehole. So, as we have raised £3225 plus some gift aid, we will be able to pay for 2 of the boreholes. These will be dedicated to From The Annexe and when they return from Zambia I will post some photos so that you can see what you have donated for.

I cannot thank you all enough!!!

And don’t forget that every £2 donated brings water to a child and every £10 water to a family. It is truly life changing.

You can continue to donate at any time by visiting the website

From The Annexe ‘Life’
Online and CD

It’s been 4 years in the making, (Covid didn’t help and life kept getting in the way), but at last it’s arrived. Release date is this Friday 26th May 2023, released on all the usual streaming sites and on CD, which will be available to purchase from the website;
https://fromtheannexe.com/music
Comprising of 5 tracks previously released as singles digitally, and 5 tracks not yet released.
As usual, all proceeds will go to Oasis Relief Zambia. I am aware that not everyone can afford luxuries’ like this these days, but you can still help and it will cost you nothing. If you use a streaming service like Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music or YouTube just by streaming us, adding us to your playlists, subscribing or following, every little bit helps to raise our profile and generate funds for the charity.

I will be exhibiting in Victoria Hall, Glossop and CDs will also be on sale. Friday evening 7pm to 9pm is Preview Night, so if anyone happens to be in the area and fancies a natter and a glass of wine, feel free to drop in, you’ll be most welcome.

Borehole Challenge 2023
Last year my Borehole Challenge was a resounding success, so with a fair wind, good fortune, and your generosity lets sink a borehole for this year as well. It costs £2000 to sink a borehole and will bring clean water to around 1000 people!

Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes. I had a lovely day and all those best wishes made it even better. Graham.

To all my kickstarter backers who have now voted on the songs making up my next record - thank you! While I mourn the 10 songs that didn't make it, I am thrilled to be recording the ones that did! This was the top voted song on there, co-written with William Baker, and it's a much more upbeat, borderline pop track! Get ready for an upbeat, dynamic, exciting, live, acoustic album. Being recorded this month with Joseph O'Keefe, Cooper Lower, Mark Lewis & Craig Sellars and being finished to perfection at the end of April by Kris Gorski at Studio Audioplanet. Thank you all for continuing to make my dreams as a musician come true, and allowing me to serve my music to anyone and everyone who wants to eat it up - online, on vinyl, on the radio, and in person at my live shows. Here's to booking a worldwide release tour for this exciting new record! X

From The Annexe is releasing a second single 'Alone', on 27th January. Here's a sneak peak. Some of you may remember it from the limited edition charity CD I released in 2002. I will be remixing some more tracks from that CD soon. For those who haven't heard it before I hope you enjoy it.

Oasis Relief Borehole Fundraiser.

Total Amount Raised £2110 !!!

When I started this fundraiser with the launch of the website on October 1st 2022, I thought it was far too ambitious to expect to raise £2000 by 29th December. However, I am overwhelmed to be able to tell you that the target has been achieved. Whilst the figure on the Facebook Fundraiser only shows £1374 raised, funds have come in from other sources, and with the gift aid received on these donations we have a final total £2120. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has donated. So many people will benefit from your generosity. A borehole will be sunk later next year and I will post details and photos of it’s location so that you can see exactly how your money has been put to use.

From The Annexe, as a fundraising musical venture, will still continue for as long as I can keep the music and the artwork flowing. I’m going to be adding some more artwork soon, and a new single is being released on 27th January. You can still visit the website https://fromtheannexe.com and donate at any time. And please, keep up to date with what is happening; follow us on facebook, sign up for the mailing list on the website, subscribe to the Youtube channel. I can only do this with your help.

And once again a big THANK YOU!!!!
