After months of searching and planning, I am honoured to announce that HAZE will be happening on Saturday, October 7th at the amazing PARLAY in South Woodford. Prepare yourselves for an incredible heavyweight lineup of talented DJs who will absolutely rock the dance floor and keep you entertained throughout the entire night! This event is my opportunity to express my gratitude to some of the DJs and promoters who have supported and believed in me from the very beginning.

HAZE is named after my mum, and with her blessings, as well as the support and encouragement from so many friends and family I have found the courage to try and make this dream a reality. Thank you all ♥️

So during lockdown I took part in mscurve competition, I recached the semifinals. I gained a lot of weight lol eating a lot of chocolate 😅🫣, I suppose a lot of did 🤷‍♀️during lockdown.
However I lost a lot since then,
I Just want to say either way …..
“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.” — whatever your size, thick, or thin.
As for me you already know, I’m confident and don’t care I will wear what I like.

Cayman Connection Book Club member Laurene is the author and she will be on hand to sign your copy (she also has inspirational prints on sale).
For those of you not in yet in , here is a little background on our member: Laurene was born and grew up in Trinidad. She came to Britain, becoming an aeromedical evacuation Nursing Officer in the RAF and then a clinical nurse specialist in the NHS. She is also a complementary therapist.
Laurene has always been an avid writer, working adeptly in a variety of genres. Her poems have been critically acclaimed and her book of short stories, Walking in the Shadows and The Heir, was self-published in 2016.
Laurene joined CC Book Club in 2022 and has family who has lived and worked in Grand Cayman. We are so happy to have her as part of our network!

The one and only Sheril Precious Shordee McField aka Precious Shordee is gracing the Cayman Day stage once again this year!

This proud Caymanian Hip-Hop solo artiste as well as reigning Queen Ms. Exquisite World 2022/23, was born and raised in the Cayman Islands, and resides in London.

Sheril graduated at John Casablanca’s Modelling Arts & Institution School in Atlanta, Georgia and has an International Model Diploma. She has modelled for Atlanta Film & Fashion Board, Pepsi Promotions and many others.

She has always been passionate about pageantry, music, fashion, modelling, women empowerment and mental health. Sheril dares to empower but mostly, she dares to be herself.

Welcome back, Precious - we ready to hear that Caymanian accent put to song!

Plans for this year's Cayman Day in the UK are unfolding and the excitement is building as we look forward to our November 12th function at Snoozebox!
