Artist & Community Officer

Sophie Wink is a co-founder of our company and plays a key role as the Artist & Community Officer. She is the vital link between our creative projects and the artists we collaborate with, ensuring they receive the support they need. Sophie also leads our workshops and creative learning initiatives, helping to nurture and develop new talent. Outside of Vivid Roots, Sophie works as a freelance playwright and educator, bringing her passion for storytelling and creativity to everything she does.

CEO & Creative Producer

Laura Walker is a co-founder of Vivid Roots and now serves as the CEO and creative producer. She is the driving force behind our strategic development and oversees all our creative projects. With a rich background as a freelance director, producer, and researcher in the theatre industry, Laura brings her expertise and passion to every aspect of our work. She also holds an MRes in Creative Practice, making her a true visionary in the field. We're lucky to have her leading the way at ROOTS Festival 2024!

It's here - it's finally here! And what an amazing time we've had at Eden Court Theatre and Cinema this week.
