The Teddy romper with allllll the extras! And its Extra! Double flutter, double peplum, double pie crust and double the fun!
So a clash definitely took me out of my comfort zone but thankfully the very lovely .and.anais.diaries helped me with her fabulous fabric choices and trusted me to create something bright and beautiful. I'm so delighted at how it turned out!
Two vintage St Michael's fabrics here and a beautiful retro orange brought it all together with plenty of ruffles and character.

I love a romper...making them and putting them on my little Beigh bum.
So easy to wear and perfect for potty training too...which alot of our girls have started, completed or will be starting soon. With crotch snaps for fast changes or toileting they are practical and of course pretty. Fast access for nappy changes too they really are a great addition to your little womans wardrobe.
This culduthel romper here on beautiful Violet is still one of my absolute favourites...I'd love to get a hold of more of this gorgeous fabric but it's so hard to come by...I came across this by chance one day and I'm so pleased I did.

I love a surprise make. So when my rep who has been with me since she was 1 month old requested a surprise birthday make I was so excited!!!.
Jumpsuits are probably one of my favourite things to make especially if they are for a special occasion and I can go as OTT as I can manage.
I originally bought this tulle for Beighs birthday make but it didn't arrive on time, unfortunately, but what better way to put it to use than little Arwens 1st Birthday outfit.

This is one of the most simple but beautiful embroidery fabrics I've ever had and I'm absolutely in love with its delicate little roses. 🌹

This buttoned up, belted, collared beauty is off to its new home this week! How pretty is the Cairn spring summer jacket...so many ruffles and pretty details including, of course, pockets 🥰
Each coat comes with a collar or hood, turned up cuffs and a pretty removable belt. This is in a full print but it can be teamed with a complimentary cotton as the main or ruffles for a stand out look. Or even a gorgeous plain outer and fabulous vintage lining and ruffles for a more subtle but wow look .

How beautiful is this vintage fabric...originally a frill edged bedspread now a stunning stand out dress with ruffle sleeves to die for.
I can't stand waste (unless it's vegetables I pretend I'm gonna eat) and this frill edge had to be used somehow. Reduce, reuse, recycle! Ecofriendly is 😍 beautiful.

𝐴 𝐷𝐴𝑌 𝐼𝑁 𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐿𝐼𝐹𝐸

Firstly how beautiful is this Dunabban Dress with V back and bow tie detail...added lace details for a beautiful finish to this foxglove fabric.
Typically my day starts early, normally woke up by Teddy or Beigh then I've to wake up two teenagers for school at 7.00am(not an easy task at times haha). Breakfast, showers, getting dressed then taking Teddy to nursery for 9am. Then I usually go for a walk with Beigh in her pram along the river for some daily fresh air, before heading home to clean and make lunch. I can then normally grab an hour to cut out some orders and post on Instagram if I'm lucky. Play with Beigh for maybe an hour before collecting Teddy from nursery. We walk to the supermarket and collect something for our dinner then walk home and start cooking. 😋
Once dinners made, the teenagers are home and we have all eaten, its cleaning up, showers, pj's and bedtime routine again😴
Once Teddy and Beigh are in bed I start work at around 7:15 usually making 2 to 3 items that evening which normally takes me to around 2am.
Everyday is the same but different in small ways. I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm lucky to work from home and I am very busy everyday. My husband works away from home so its just me, please be patient if I'm not super fast on the reply and understand that I don't normally come onto Instagram at the weekends.
Saturday is family day and Sundays are spent checking fabric stock and relisting on my website for opening on mondays

I've been trying to decide for a while what to do when it comes to my labels and packaging. I buy from an eco friendly bagging company for my parcels and embellish each one with a beautiful logo stamp from . So it just made sense to get my clothing and sizing labels from this wonderful company too. The customer service is absolutely fantastic!
