We will be closed this Friday & Saturday 27th & 28th October and then again on Sunday & Monday the 5th and 6th Nov for outside catering events. We will still be open Sunday, Monday 29th & 30th October and Friday, Saturday 3rd & 4th November

we have both tested positive for covid 😲 after feeling unwell for a few days , we hope to reopen on Wednesday , 🤞but will keep you posted !

We have both came down with a big so unfortunately we will not be open today Saturday 24th June

So a very special announcement from Kay and I !!!!

After turning 65 a couple of weeks ago and contemplating what lies ahead we have came to the decision that it’s time for us to finally
think about retiring having both worked since we were 14.
So we have decided to announce
that we are going to be putting the Jaggy Thistle up for sale and hopefully hand it on to someone else who can take it to yet another level rather than rumours starting to spread

In the meantime we will still be here serving you with all our usual enthusiasm.

We are not going to eat here because you have told us we can’t eat our own food!! What a bunch of arrogant stuck up as****es they were! Told twice not to eat their own cakes , coffee etc as soon as both Kay and I walked away they continued to do it. Apparently I am not a nice person!

Thanks to the guy that just ran my daughters dog over and killed it and didn’t stop! Black Range rover. He stopped when the dogs rzz ask out onto the road yhen accelerated at full speed right over the dog!!

Not been out for a meal for a long time but Kay wanted out for a while so just at the invergarry hotel for there roast dinner , fabulous meal and great value for money, would definitely recommend it

Kay has had 9 stitches in her knee fortunately nothing broken. We will reopen next Friday, thanks everyone for your good wishes

Kay has fell this morning and hurt her knee so taking her to A & E Do we will not be open this morning .
