Got a haircut last week whilst in Edinburgh at and I LOVE my hair. I got a fair bit cut off but I love my hair shorter and already cannot wait for my next visit.

Let’s talk about moisture overload.

I have been suffering with this recently. I did my usual gelatine treatment after a full head of highlights but a few weeks later my hair l like it needed some moisture. So, I used the Hydro Crème Soothing Mask, which I love but my hair didn’t need the moisture 🤦‍♀️

My hair ended up fluffy and not holding the curl past wash day. So today I used the tiniest bit of Conditioning wash and then used the Feather Light Protein Cream and the In Shower Fixer. My hair is now in a perfect balance of moisture and protein and it didn’t take that much to tip me back into the right balance. Cutting back on the moisturising products and adding a styler with protein was all it took.

As you can tell I am a massive fan of 😂

Wee car selfie. Had to wash hair today as it’s date night with my husband - a rare Friday night off. Used Air Drying Cream, Protein Cream and Inshower fixer (my favourite gel!) and hair power cream. Will be scrunching out the crunch with the new Bonding Oil!

I hate how people think they can just come up and touch my hair…. Just no! Unless I know you or give you express permission.

Finally used the Hair make up that sent me!! I used the Rose Good colour and I loved it! Was great for a change

Can we just appreciate my DAY 8 hair 😱 this has not happened in a long time. This week I have not tied it up with a bobble! Just used hair bands and my bonnet! Ohh and I got a new tattoo

I got my roots bleached yesterday…. Would you know? A quick gelatine treatment and a wee deep conditioning with bond treatment and you would never know 😍

said on her stories today, have you been thankful today? Well today I can honestly say I have been and completely blown away. I received this amazing box today from Millie and I have been spoilt. Millie was one of the first people to follow me on Instagram and has spoken to me since, we have wonderful conversations, not just about curly hair products. Today was wash day. From tomorrow I am on a 5 day stretch at work so wanted clean hair to start off with and will wash on Thursday when I finish. I used all the products you see here. My scalp needed cleansing so I used the Scalp detox range - I LOVE this stuff, my scalp feels amazing after using it. Then went in with the styling products. is what I use on my hair exclusively!

I haven’t posted much on here as I have become a bit disillusioned with the curly community. I have met some amazing people and made friends through a love of curly hair but I have recently unfollowed a well known ‘curly hair influencer’ as she was asking her followers to send her money because it was her birthday. That did not sit right with me. We are in the middle of a global pandemic and people are dying and losing their jobs, homes etc and she is asking people she doesn’t know to send her money because it’s her birthday. She obviously gets a lot of PR stuff sent to her. It’s just not right to me.

I will continue to do me and you post about my hair and I buy all my products myself. I won’t lie, I love a discount code but I pay for everything from my own hard earned cash. Kudos to you if you get PR stuff sent to you and a company wants to pay you to promote a product, go you! Maybe one day a company will ask me to do that but it will have to be something I love!

Anyway, I’m off to dry my hair and do skin care (another passion!). Have a great Saturday and sorry for the rant!!

Long time, no see! Sorry, I have been busy working during this pandemic (My main job is a within the ) and opening my own business! Just had my hair cut yesterday and loving the results! I have had a big clear out and am sticking with using as I genuinely love the products and get a great result every time. Hope you are all well, I have been thinking of you all. Wash day today! Used all my favourite products! I have actually cleared my stash out and pretty much exclusively using but I am DEVASTATED to hear they are discontinuing the In Shower Fixer in the UK and EU 😭😭😭 am starting a petition!!!

Just a quick post to say I am sorry that I have been quiet on this page since I got back from Amsterdam. In fact, I have just been very quiet. I actually have laryngitis and haven’t had a voice for coming up a week now.

I have washed my hair today. Washed with As I Am Naturally UK Scalp Care shampoo and used SheaMoisture UK conditioner. Using my trusty Felicia Leatherwood Detangler Brush to detangle my hair!

I styled using Bounce Curl Moisture Balance leave in (I LOVE this stuff), then I used Innersense Organic Beauty Quiet Calm Curl Control (first time using this - good first impression) and lastly I used Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Gel. I used my Dyson Supersonic hairdryer to dry until it was about 70% dry. Air dried the rest. When fully dry, I will SOTC with some Mielle Organics hair oil.

This was a quick wash and style as I just wanted to get my jammies back on again 😭.

Attending my pal wedding yesterday. Hair was pinned over to one side and facinator on. Really easy and simple look 💕

Day 7 hair 😍 it will get washed tomorrow as I am attending a wedding and away to Amsterdam! But I cannot complain at these results and I have NOT done a refresh!!

Wash day. Took the opportunity to use the Scalp line. I got the 3 step kit along with the Hydro Creme soothing mask. This 3 step system was really easy to use and follow and also smells AMAZING!! This is already in my basket for re-purchasing so will definitely need a discount code for 😂

Step 1 - the Primer and pre wash. This step you do not wash out.

Step 2 - is the Wash & Scrub detox pro biotic. It is a clarifying shampoo and this does lather so if you are strict CG, you won’t like this!! I scrubbed my scalp with my scalp brush for 5 mins.

Step 3 - the Post Biotic calming conditioner. The smell 😍 and it made my scalp feel all tingly (in a good way!) and lovely!! This has Hyaluronic Acid in it to help keep moisture in your hair. The conditioner also helps restore the pH and levels and moisture balance in your hair after clarifying.

Hydro Creme Soothing Mask - is an intensely moisture game mask with Hyaluronic Acid. You can keep this on for up to 30 mins so I changed all the beds in my house whilst this was on 😂. I detangled with my brush WHICH I LOVE!!!

I styled with Moisture Balance Leave In Conditioner then sectioned my hair and put in the Curl Conditioning Oil in Cream and In Shower Fixer. Used the to ensure every curl was saturated with product and define my curls. I used my Supersonic to dry. Absolutely delighted with how my hair turned out today. Looks so defined!! Put in a wee pic of hair loss - this is an improvement on what it has been 😁

✂️ HAIRCUT RESULTS ✂️

I love the cut. My hair needed a really good chop and shape. It was really heavy in places. However, the salon used sulphate shampoo on my hair 😩😭😢. You can tell as my hair is like straw.

I did a DC today but it’s still dry.

Any DC recommendations?

Day 2 hair 😍 delighted with these results! This was using Styling Cream, homemade Flaxseed gel and In Shower fixer.

A good wash day! Deep conditioned in the shower this morning and it has helped. I think I was in protein overload.

HOMEMADE FLAXSEED GEL 600mls water
50g flaxseed (whole not milled)

Boil for 10 mins until your get the stringy mucus and take off heat for 30 mins. Strain and use 😘 make sure you keep this in the fridge though

Ending 2019 with good hair! I’ve been quiet the last few weeks as my hair hasn’t been happy. Tonight I did an ACV rinse and then deep conditioned with a heat cap. Then styled with the glorious clumping cream and gel 😍 my curls are BACK
