It is with great sadness that we share the news of the untimely passing of our wonderful friend and club member, Douglas Somerville. He curled with both the Torness and Highland clubs and was a regular supporter of medical bonspiels. Our thoughts are with Jeananne, Iona, Kirsten and Catriona, and the extended family. His funeral will take place next Thursday, 05.10.23, at John Fraser & Sons in Chapel Street - further details are posted on their site here: https://johnfraserandson.com/family-notices

We're sorry to share the sad news of the passing of one of our long-standing members, George MacWilliam. His illness had prevented him from curling over the last two seasons, but he was a fine player, and he had contributed much to the game, having played since his schooldays, and while at University too. Our thoughts are with Merrill and their family at this time. The funeral is next Wednesday, 31st May, and details are included in the post from the funderal directors.
