We’ve been a bit quiet on social media this week as we’ve had our lovely granddaughter to stay. Lots of fun with sand and water and the weather was great which was a bonus.

Normal service has now resumed and we are ready for the fantastic Culbokie Community Market tomorrow which runs from 10am until 12pm 😊

Along with a fantastic line up of stalls, we will have all your favourite chocolate treats and also locally roasted coffee from our friends at the Inverness Coffee Roasting Co

Inverness Farmer's Market

INVERNESS FARMERS MARKET - 25TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT!!

Debbie and I are so privileged to be able to celebrate this fantastic achievement on Saturday with all of our amazingly talented fellow stallholders. ☺️

Along with our usual selection of fabulous market fare, there will be ice cream, hot and cold takeaway food, musical entertainment, special gin miniatures and cake! 😋

We will, of course, have all of your favourite chocolate treats, and to mark this momentous occasion, we are also offering a unique celebration box of 4 alcohol-filled chocolates or 4 non-alcohol-filled chocolates, complete with a white rose, silver ribbon and silver "25" decoration, for the special price of only £5. 😋🍫2️⃣5️⃣

These will be limited in availability, so please let us know if you would like us to keep any boxes aside for you to collect on Saturday! 😀

It’s the lovely Kirkhill Monthly Market tomorrow (Friday) in the Community Centre from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

SPRING STEPS COMPETITION - ROUND ONE!!

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to our fantastic Spring Steps Competition. 😀

As usual, we will give you the opportunity to guess how many steps Debbie has taken on EIGHT of our lovely scenic walks during the month of May. 🚶‍♀️

There will be ONE POINT awarded for each correct parameter guess, and a further TWO POINTS awarded if you can guess the exact number of steps within this parameter. 😀

For example' if you choose the correct parameter (3336 - 3340), you will earn ONE POINT, but if you also add an exact correct guess of 3339, you will earn a total of THREE POINTS. 😁

There will be a total of EIGHT rounds this month, details of which will appear in the evenings of Sunday and Wednesday, so the winner of a lovely chocolate prize will be the person who has accumulated the most points at the end of the competition. 😀

For Round One, Debbie and I had a very enjoyable walk around our local golf course and over to the pond across the A82 to feed our friendly duck and moorhen friends, so please choose how many steps you think Debbie has taken on this walk from the following parameters, and then please add your best guess of the exact number of steps taken from within your chosen parameter;

A - (7551 - 7555)
B - (7556 - 7560)
C - (7561 - 7565)
D - (7566 - 7570)
E - (7571 - 7575)

This Saturday marks the 10TH ANNIVERSARY of our first ever attendance at this wonderful local community market. 😀

Debbie and I are both truly honoured and thrilled to have been a regular part of such an amazing event for so long, including our weekly outdoor visits during Covid, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the fantastic customers, organisers, volunteer caterers and fellow stallholders for helping to make the 3rd Saturday in the month such a fantastic success for everyone. 🥰

Culbokie Community Market

EASTER ANAGRAM RESULT AND WINNER!!

We are delighted to announce that our Easter anagram competition has been won in the first round by our lovely Inverness Farmers Market regular customer Louise Simpson. 🥳 🤩

From 1st February until 06th April inclusive, all of our customers who purchased Debbie's delicious chocolates at one of our markets or online were given one anagram letter for each £15 spent.

The category of Famous Person from History was revealed to each qualifying customer last Saturday, and we received some excellent best guesses, which included such well-known names as Robert Burns, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Horatio Nelson, Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela, William Shakespeare and Julius Caesar.

However, from only 7 letters received (SENDERC), Louise found the inspiration to come up with the correct answer below;

SENDERCREATES - RENE DESCARTES (17th Century French Philosopher and Scientist, famous for the quotation "I think, therefore I am!")
