Well, we've done it 😱.
Yep, we now have a very unique Shepherd's Hut which we are hoping to rent out, for holiday let's next year.
Lots of paperwork to be completed and a few tweaks and updates to do on and in the Shepherds Hut but fingers crossed, this will be up and running as soon as possible.... 🤞🤞🤞

OMG. Our very own Pulled Pork, reared and eaten ..... With homemade BBQ sauce and heated rolls for tonight's tea.... Wow, wow, wow.
This is a practice for the Glengarry Highland Games - Scotland which is being held on Saturday 6th July in Invergarry. Should be a great day guys so why not come along.

Well it's that time of the year when, here on the Croft, we start thinking of Christmas 😱😱😱
47 Turkey Eggs all in the incubators now. The large one is an automatic turner and the smaller one just gets turned three times a day by us. Mind you four of our ladies turkeys are all sitting on goodness knows how many turkey eggs also .... 🫣🫣

Thanks so much for the people who came and bought our produce today. First Wednesday in every month, rain, shine, snow or sun, seems to be working for those of you who regularly come along now. I will be here again at Wildside, on Wednesday 5th June. Hope to see you all back.......

A stonker of a lamb, born just over a week ago, was brought in to the Barn a couple of days ago, with her mummy due to a very bad leg from lambing. Metacam and antibiotics injected now, but they will probably be in the Barn for a while yet until she can walk better.🐑🐑

Also a couple of months ago we sold our lovely Heather and Thistle (2 sows) who now live in Perth. They were 'in pig' at the time and after driving over to Grantown, to Lynbreck Croft yesterday, (who very kindly picked two gilts (female weaners)), up from Perth along with 4 males for themselves, we now have 2 of Heather's babes here on the Croft. 🐷🐷

Our own grown potatoes are chitting, so we have decided to sell them for growing.

£4.50 for a 2kg bag of a selection of King Edward's and Roosters.

So we don't often re-home any of our animals but today our sweet male call duck plus two ladies have gone to a forever home just 5 miles away.....

Dewi the call duck has settled very well. X # # is absolutely smitten and I kid you not. She has not moved from beside them since they arrived. Except for half an hour when we dragged her in for lunch. we will keep them in this run for 24 hrs just to make sure everyone’s fine. Our lone duck is very happy to see them even though she is the other side of the fence. So far so good. ! Thank you !! X
