FREE TARTAN PIECES

I am sure you all know already but we make our own kilts in our inverness workshop. This has now caused a massive back log of cut outs from all the kilts we have made this year. Is there anyone who does crafting or schools/groups which could make use of any of it? Obviously, there would be no charge for this, just need some space back 😁 All cuttings are very similar size to picture below (appox 8inches long by 6 inches). Give us a call or email and I can put some aside for you.

Some of our recent hand made kilts which our lovely kilt makers have been busy with for customers. All our kilts are 100% hand sewn right here in Inverness using Scottish wool 😁 If you are looking to have a new kilt made, please pop into the store and the girls will guide you though the process.

This year will be another year of so many lovely couples tying the knot so make an appointment prior the the 5th of February and lock in last years prices prior to our annual increase which will be effective from 5.2.24! Happy new year to all our amazing customers when it comes! Another year where you’ve all kept us so busy and we wouldn’t be where we are without all of you! We are now closed for our staff to have a well earned rest and will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 3rd of January! Let’s hope 2024 keeps us as busy as 2023 💜

A different post for us, but one we couldn’t miss! Yesterday we celebrating our amazing manager Amy’s wedding to her new husband Scott! They had a beautiful day even throughout the bad weather! Nothing dampened there day or took the smiles off their faces! Amy and Scott were lucky enough to work with some amazing local suppliers which we are always happy to share with you! We may have forgotten some but they absolutely made the day so special for the newlyweds 💜

Our wonderful Amy is getting married on Saturday the 14th of October! We couldn’t miss it so the store will be running on reduced service for this day! We will still be open but only for kilt hire bookings so please ensure to make an appointment for a different day if you require any of our other services! 💜

The dreaded c word is incoming! A quick warning to any customers hoping to have a kilt made for Christmas or a Christmas gift, our cut off will be this Saturday 9th of September! Pop us a message for an appointment. Thank you as always for keeping us so busy this year! 💜

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads, the men who have stepped up to be dads, the dads we may have lost and of course the mums who are mum and dad. We are forever grateful to you and everything you do for us all 💜

Throwing it back to the wonderful Ross and Niall's wedding at an amazing venue which created some beautiful photos for the boys. Ross is wearing our own tartan which is the Ben Wyvis Thistle tartan and Niall is wearing our newly introduced Holyrood tartan which is proving very popular for this wedding season. Today we have Ben Wyvis Kilts, some information about the business is below, check them out on their social feeds.

All of our kilts are entirely hand sewn from start to finish. Using traditional method’s all of our kilt makers are based in our store and are highly trained in kilt craftmanship. All of our made to measure kilts are full 8 yard kilts from either 13oz or 16oz pure worsted wool with several thousands of tartans to choose from. We also hold an extensive range of jackets and accessories including sporrans, shoes, belts and sgian dubhs to complement your perfect outfit.
