Another Woodtec 5 XtraWide installed this week.
Replaced an older inefficient gas stove. Customer noticed the heat output being more than the old gas fire during the commissioning burn with just kindling.

Customer has requested a quote for a second stove to be installed in their front room also.
We must be doing something right.

We have a Woodtec 5 extra Wide stove in stock ready for installation as soon as September.

This stove can be used with or without a brick chimney, No Chimney!? No Problem.

It is a wood only stove but fairly puts out the heat.

We recently had a HETAS inspection, and we visited this installation.
Glad to report the inspector found all of our work to be in accordance with the stove manufacturers instructions and Document J of Building Regulations.

Fitted this nice wee proper cooker stove for a customer last week.

Removing the corroded liner was fun….. as it was 2 foot too short from the top of the pot. You can see it hadn’t been connected to the pot hanging cowl and even though they would have been getting smoked, wasps still build quite a large nest within the cowl.

A Termatech TT20 Strealine R installed for a customer with a Schiedel ICID Plus flue system with a 20 year warranty, sired on a 40mm Italian Riven teardrop hearth.

After an inspection of an existing stove and unable to source replacement components, our customer elected to have a new stove install.

We are recruiting for a Trainee Stove Installer, ideally based near Inverurie.

Duties to include…..
Installing and Commissioning Solid Fuel Stoves. Lining chimneys with Flue Liners.
Installing Twinwall Systems.
Manual Handling.
Working at Height.
Use of Chemicals/Solvents.
General Labouring.

Knowledge of C.O.S.H.H and Manual Handling would be advantageous.

Full PPE and Training will be provided.

For the right candidate, they will be put through their HETAS training after a probation period.

To be replaced with a 5kw Arada Solution inset stove and the chimney lined with a flue liner.

My customers will definitely be feeling warm this Christmas.

We must be doing something right as this installation come from a recommendation from a neighbour, and from this installation we have 2 confirmed jobs and a further 2 site visits to carry out to give quotations.

As we are both Gas Safe Registered and HETAS Registered, we were able to do this full job without the expense of bringing a third party Gas Engineer in, keeping costs down to our customers.

After an extremely busy year, that is our diary for 2023 fully booked for installations.

Kerry and I thank you all for your continued support.

We are closed for the festive period from the 21st of December until the 8th January 2024.

Ruby has been out on the road with me today carrying out site visits for installations, two of which have just paid their deposits and confirmed to be carried out in January. She also visited Speyside Stoves with me to place the orders for these stoves and hearths that will be required in the New Year.

Why should you avoid slumbering your stove? 🤔

It can lead to:
🔴 Sooty and/or dry deposits on the flue lining
🔴 Increased levels of carbon monoxide and particulates
🔴 Increased likelihood of condensation within the chimney
