In this design, the main colour comes from the rose madder plant. Adding character are dyes made from logwood, Japanese indigo, and coffee.

キラキラ KIRA KIRA - Sparkling Collection

In this collection silk threads are braided through raw gemstones.

Mulberry dyed silk threads are woven through pink tourmaline, amethyst and smoky quartz. Adding colour are threads dyed with coffee and Japanese indigo.

In this design, the main two blue colours come from the Japanese indigo plant. Adding character are dyes made from logwood, rose madder and coffee.

After two years of preparation, I've finally reached the stage where I can share some photos of my new project.

This necklace is made from over 190 silk threads using kumihimo, a traditional Japanese braiding technique. The threads are botanically dyed and were gifted to me by Japanese textile artist Mrs Yayoi Suzuki.

I'm planning to start selling these unique jewellery items from next month. I'll be posting more photos from time to time, so please do come back and have a look.
