Father’s Day celebrations on Sunday ❤️

This months arm chair travel we took a visit to The Swiss Alps, with a little bit of James Bond Goldfinger thrown in for good measure 😊

The rain didn’t stop us this week ☔️ However we did stay local for our walking group and a stop off at our local shop 😊 and of course a nice warm cuppa ☕️

World Caring Day last Friday 🥰 Here are some of our amazing residents making and delivering gifts 🥰❤️

Friday’s bus trip was to The Jingling Gate for fish and chips 😋

Gardening Club planning well under way 👩‍🌾🪴⛲️ Hc-one gardening competition we are coming for you 😊

Friday’s bus trip took us to Wheelbricks Ice-cream Parlour. It was a glorious day 🌞. We sat outdoors for lunch and refreshments, enjoying the view of fruit trees, flowers and the free-range hens. We also met the donkeys 😊 Even better we bumped into residents from one of our sister homes Greenways Court.

One of our wonderful residents Hugo decided he was going to go and place his vote on election day. We asked would he like some company to do so but he declined. Armed with his photo ID off he went independently to cast his vote. This was so important to Hugo he declined his morning cuppa and newspaper to get out and make a difference stating “you’ve got to be in it to win it”

He did however get his morning cuppa and newspaper once the job was done 😊

Today is World Laughter Day, tell us some of your best jokes to get us all laughing 😂

Our walking groups grows every week! Not just our fabulous residents but we were joined by some of our amazing families 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️ and the sun had it’s hat on for us 🌞 We love to get out and about 😊

Music group this week 🎵🎶 we are always up for a boogie 🕺💃🏻

Our monthly Managers quiz 🧐always a massive hit with our residents who become very competitive 😂

We love our visits from little Izzy (Pat dog) she always lights up our day 🐾

Mondays walking club 🚶‍♀️🚶the rain didn’t stop us! This week was The Exhibition Park 🦆🦢

We love nothing more than getting out and about around our local community

Friendly reminder it’s our monthly resident/relative meeting tomorrow 17th April 2pm held in the ground floor lounge. We look forward to seeing everyone 😊

Our monthly Tai Chi class with Wendy 😊 this is always a big hit with our residents, there are so many benefits of Tai Chi such as Improved balance, Improved cognitive function and memory, improved hand-eye coordination and increased blood circulation these a just a few to name 😊

What an amazing turn out for our Christmas Fayre on Saturday 🎅. Thank you to everyone who came and made our wonderful residents day. Feel free to pop in for a full list of festive activities we have going on throughout December, everyone is welcome, the more the merrier 🌲
