New glass lift installation on an existing residential property. This lift was required so that the current residents of the house will not need to move once they get older as the house is on three floors. This lift was designed using glass to make the most of the open views of the field next to the property. The pictures below show the lift from different stages of the installation process. More pictures will be added further on in installation

The total raised at our charity event was £5088 all the money raised is for candlelighters children’s cancer charity & manorlands thank you to all who came and all who donated

Job description
Lift Engineer required. An established provider of both Passenger and Goods Lifts to customers across the UK.

Swansea Lift Repair & Service Ltd is a family business of skilled lift engineers with over 45 years of experience developing innovative lift designs. We are passionate about our industry and committed to customer care.

Due to continued growth and success we are currently looking to recruit a Lift Engineer to be responsible for attending customer sites across Wales for both planned maintenance, breakdown and service works.

Lift Engineer – Wales Position Overview

Attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work
Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites
Provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers to maximise the first time fix rate
Undertake refurbishment, installation and replacement of lifts in a range of locations including commercial offices, shopping centres and private establishments
Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company
Participating in Call out rota
Travelling throughout the coverage area
Lift Engineer - Position Requirements

NVQ Level 3 qualified in Lift Engineering
Previous experience within a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
Relevant qualifications for the position e.g. City & Guilds
Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either / both Passenger and Goods lifts
Self-motivated, reliable and organised
Full (clean) UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
You will need to participate in a call out rota
Based in or around Swansea

Salary £TBC Depending on experience
Monday to Friday - 40 hour week + call out
20 days holiday plus bank holidays

This position will be based at our Swansea depot it will be field based with onsite interaction with customers and the potential to expand the team. You will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all types of Stairlifts and mobility aids. You should have excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge with well developed experience of delivering customer service and a strong ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with a variety of clients. We are looking for a self motivated and personable individual with ambition to succeed within an existing company and someone who seeks opportunities for ongoing personal development and actively engage withing company training opportunities.
Competitive annual salary dependent on experience
Company van is provided, therefore valid driving licence is essential.

Keighley Lifts Uk Ltd were really glad to see some of the lovely East Morton and BDAT school children wearing there T-shirts they seemed to have a lovely time playing there brass instruments at Bradford Cathedra l

We are really please to be supporting a local school and brass band we hope all the children enjoy wearing them at the carol service at Bradford Cathedral

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them.
