On this very rainy and chilly island day, I had company during my sea swim ❤️🦢

The five or so Swans seemed very inquisitive of this crazy lady bobbing about in the rain and bloody cold waves 😂

Day 3 of my cold water experiment for chronic pain, fatigue and autoimmune disease healing and although this was by far the most difficult as the temperatures had plummeted after 50 seconds I was just as happy as this beautiful bevy 🥰

I have always been that blue-blooded female 😰, the woman who is always cold, who cancelled her spa membership because the heated pool was still too cold! Who would sleep with an electric blanket every night unless it's 80 degrees outside if she could🤣 BUT sometimes we have to push ourselves out of our comfort zone! Sometimes we are desperate enough that we would do ANYTHING! and for me that time is now as the chronic pain has left me devastated and totally bedridden!

For nearly a decade I have been reading about and watching and later the beautiful journey of but I never felt brave enough to even try! Until a few days ago when out of desperation I randomly decided to go for it!

Several days later and I am breathing, meditating and being forced to get out of the very cold British sea having stayed happily submerged for up to 10 minutes at a time! I’d happily stay longer and when in the cold water feel so relieved that all pain disappears and I feel truly calm 🙏🏼❤️

There is something beautifully meditative about the cold water and I will not be stopping!

If you are scared, trust me push yourself and you never know what wonders await you 🏊‍♀️🌊🧎🏻‍♀️

When your up against the worst Uni deadline ever and Starbucks are literally keeping you alive at this point 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️❤️

My amazing Dad celebrated his 80th Birthday today ❤️🎂🎉

A day full of blessings, love, laughter and gratitude for the wonderful Man who will always be my best friend ❤️

Celebrating my amazing Dads 80th Birthday 🎉

In our favourite father-daughter place having some special one-to-one time before the family fun and celebrating truly begins ❤️🎂🎊

Our hearts are truly full having spent a remarkable wkd with such wonderful people serving the Dover community! It was a privilege to meet so many amazingly talented ceramic artists including the loveliest stars and we were utterly enamoured by the vast number of delightful people of all ages attending and enjoying every moment with us! 🤍

and those supporting ensured this huge success with their passion, hard work and dedication which could be felt throughout every offering and there were many! Every element was kindly free and the atmosphere gloriously concentrated with laughter. Thank you all, the beaming smiles of everyone present were utterly joyful to behold as was the beautiful who made us feel so welcome and ensured we didn't miss a moment!

The community Throwdown competition was our favourite element making us laugh with tears thanks to those brilliant souls willing to have a go, the incredible artists such as .gunn and supporting and guiding plus the fabulous who was an absolute star!

To observe such kindness and selflessness for the greater good was truly humbling and we felt blessed to have been a part of something so special! We even had the opportunity to buy stunning handmade pieces from the gorgeous that were positively inspirational and will bring immeasurable pleasure. 🙏

My Darling thank you for such a wonderful surprise after the heartbreak and horrors of this past week! Your limitless thoughtfulness, love and care never fail to amaze me and after a decade together I am still ever increasingly grateful to be sharing this life journey with you. I love you 😘
