Normal? Festival of the Brain: FIELD TRIP
15th/16th July
Cole Farm, Paddlesworth, CT18 8AD

Following an unexpected few years, Normal? Festival of the Brain: FIELD TRIP is an attempt to create a space for people from Folkestone and beyond to come together - to pause, and explore where we are now. We will do this through arts, neuroscience and the lived experience - with talks, conversations, workshops, performance and food. We will breathe out in nature, as we gaze at the sky, wonder under cover, and daydream around a camp fire.

The Saturday programme will be a whole day and evening. The Sunday experience will last until lunchtime. Transport will be provided from 2 locations in Folkestone, you can also park onsite.

Hey Guys - we're back!

We've missed you so much and just wanted to give you a little update of what's been going on over the last few years and why we've been so quiet.

Before the pandemic we sadly lost our beautiful mum Penny Clayson who you all may remember as being integral to our family and our team of ColeFest legends. There's no two ways about it - losing her rocked our world to the core and a darkness descended in our hearts and over our beautiful space.

In happier news, we (Sam and Vicky) both have had small children. We lost our matriarch but we have added two new wildlings to the team (and they are wild!)

As we are sure you can appreciate such a huge loss and life changing events have impacted us all so greatly. Meanwhile the pandemic was also happening, bringing literally everything to a stop.

But we are back at the helm with exciting plans and a slightly different take on the world. So while we know that you are all part of our ColeFest family, we are hoping to bring you along on the next stage of the journey too, which will include multiple events by multiple organisers. We will be updating the name of this page to Cole Farm Events and will be sharing all of the amazing events that will be happening at the farm. This includes becoming a venue that you can hire and much, much more.

However while we are finalising things we will remain tight lipped about this for now. But if you want to know more, just stay tuned. Or you can always send us a message, we would love to hear from you.

We hope that you're all well and will support us in this next chapter - there are so many exciting things to come.
