Went back to Low Bridge End Farm a few weeks ago and it was great to see all the lambs running around.
This little one was being hand-reared and needed some extra care and is progressing well.

Amazing how these trees have started as one, then split into three.
Morning everyone
I find it very difficult to walk past this island without capturing an image of it.
The Boathouse
Morning everyone
An image I captured the other week, I keep coming back to. It's something about the mist moving through the trees that triggers my imagination.
Blencathra on Fire
I think it is worth going to popular spots to capture images people can connect with, but I do like to try and find something a little different when Iβm there. For example this image was taken at Castlerigg Stone Circle, I just decided to move round it and not include it in the image.
What are your thoughts? Do you prefer to see something familiar or that of the unknown?
Sunrise at Castlerigg Stone Circle
One of the images I took over the weekend when my son and I were chasing the weather conditions. I was quite surprised to find I captured more than one image I liked π
I was a bit all over the place yesterday morning chasing the weather, and completely abandoned my original plan (should've stuck with the plan). Even though it was a bit of a rush, my son and I thoroughly enjoyed being out for sunrise with our cameras.
In this image you can see a bird on the left, which turned out to be a heron flying by. A happy accident for the image as I didn't realise it was there when I took it.
A New Dawn
Morning π
Gorgeous morning at Derwentwater last week. Conditions were great. It had a little bit of everything. Although I spent more time looking at the scenery than actually taking any photos of it. I still managed to get a couple of images I like π
Can't make up my mind what the heron is looking at in this one. I assume it is the water but the more I look at it, the more I think it is looking at me.
Our local heron decided not to be too camera shy and let me get a couple of photos.
What a difference 10 minutes makes? Which one do you prefer?
I prefer the colour in the sky of the first but I like the light on the fells in the second one.
"I'm watching you..."
Iβve been on Vero for a while now but it has gained a lot of traction recently. Lots to like about the app. Check it out. Join me on VERO.

Deer 1 - "Is it clear?"
Deer 2 - "Yeah...No, wait! There is a photographer taking pictures again. He thinks I can't see him. Someone should tell him not to wear bright colours."
Deer 1 - "Amateur!"
Good morning everyone.
This section of woodland caught my eye across the valley with the light on the birch trees and how it was framed by the surrounding trees.
Got a Hello and Goodbye in this one. Just didn't feel like having their photo taken I guess :-) . I should have moved round for this one so the tree didn't stick out the top of the deers head. But any slight movement and they were off.
Plenty of trees on Cannock Chase to practice your woodland photography. The way the trees are captured in the image makes them look connected somehow.
A damp misty morning certainly made the colours pop, especially on the heather.
Phone shot taken while scouting for compositions on an early morning dog walk. The heather is looking great on Cannock Chase at the moment.
A little abstract London architecture. Spent a couple of days in London. Forgot my camera but making the most of the one on my phone.
