Congratulations to Sophie Sansam former 2 x national champion who’s now coaching at the academy and runs the Thursday beginners class she has been nominated for the England Boxing young coach of the year so well done sophie we are all extremely proud of you for your level of commitment whilst studying at university and work commitments 👏👏👏👏

Busy weekend for team coyle today we have 6 lads off sparring at Laister D**e we also have our 2 champs Elisha & Josey travelling down to Tamworth for the England junior open talent day good luck girls go do what you do best. Tonight we have young Ria Wilson making her team coyle debut in a skills bout on the track & fitness show in Beverley good luck Ria👊. Then tomorrow we have the big one as Demi Uscroft competes in the NACs national semi final at the magna centre Rotherham in a really tough bout demis worked her socks the last few months dropped a lot of weight and is now looking the best we have ever seen her. Go out there demi believe in yourself and anything is possible your time to shine kid👊

At the weekend these 2 boxers Josey Newton & Elisha Cole achieved something most boxers only ever dream of as they won the national junior championships at their respected age and weight categories both bringing home the gold. As an academy we’ve now had 5 national titles in 6 years amongst some other great achievements by our boxers so a huge well done to the girls for their achievements so far and well done to all the coaches for their time and effort in the gym with the boxers helping them achieve their dreams

Good luck to these 2 academy boxers elisha Cole and Josey Newton as they head to Wigan to compete in the national junior championship finals weekend where they will looking to bring home the gold and be crowned national champions. Good luck girls were all behind you🥊🥇

Well we have had a busy week with the boxers sparring all over Yorkshire finishing today in Bradford great rounds for them learning and developing the skills well done all

Unfortunately there will be no beginners class tomorrow. back to normal next week

Academy boxers Elisha Cole and Noah Johnson have been selected to represent Yorkshire vs a Scotland select team on the 27th November in Bridlington a fantastic achievement for both boxers well done to you both

Last night we had our 1st boxing show for 3 years and what a show it was a packed out venue with 13 fantastic bouts. All our boxers put in unbelievable displays of boxing with some stand out performances and well done to all their opponents Were hugely proud of you all. Thank you to all the officials and travelling clubs for making the show possible your a huge credit to the sport. Thank you to all our volunteer for all their hard work over the last couple of weeks superb effort all round. Well done to all the coaches for all the time effort and hard work they put into the boxers on a weekly basis. Our next show will be on the 19th November

Who provided an excellent service and very quick too this will be the team wear for when we attend championships Box Cups and Club shows across the whole country the boxers are gonna look great so thanks to everyone involved with academy 👏👏👏👊
