Looking for an introduction to crochet? I will be going through the basics to help you construct your first granny squares. You will learn how to hold the hook and yarn, chain stitches, single and triple crochet and how to change colours. The workshop will be held at Painting Pots Knaresborough. No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.

My Supervisor today is the lovely Matthew, who is sat on one of my crochet blankets. He is often with me when I'm crafting. Today's knitting project is a dungaree dress for a lovely little girl. Whats on your hooks and needles at the moment?

I have been knitting wristwarmers in my little Summerhouse but didn't have anywhere to leave it safe on a night or a yarn bowl to help control the yarn.

So had to make a macrame yarn holder to solve the problem. I love macrame. It is so functional and decorative at the same time.
